Will carbon/hepa filter reduce effect of hotshot no pest strips?

Greetings,

I would like to know people's thoughts on whether or not a hepa/carbon type filter that I normally use in a small area to help reduce odors would also filter out the pesticide of the hot shot no pest strips. Intake/exhaust will be turned OFF for a period of time to allow the pesticide to work but I'm wondering if I can still use my stand-alone carbon/hepa filtration unit at the same time as treatment with no pest strips.

I don't want to hinder the gas chamber effect of the no pest strips, but at the same time I'd prefer to run the filter.

If anyone has sources of information related to the size of the insecticide vapor's particles that would probably be very useful to know. My main concern is the particles may be too large to pass through a HEPA filter.

Thanks in advance for all knowledgeable replies and theories. Also I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong section. (still learning, let me know about that too)
