okay, so im in the the northeast. about 2 nights ago we had a heavy frost, so i covered all my plants with clear plastic bags. i didnt have time the next morning to go out and uncover them, and the sun cooked them. most of the fan leaves are dark green and look like shit, but the the very tops of the plants still look okay for the most part. i need to know if they will come back, or if i should just go ahead and pull them and plant new ones.

They should be fine dude, I've had worse things happen to crops.

my 200lb dog decided to take a nice ol' tromp over my ladies last year and broke 130 of them, but suprisingly 80% of them survived and just like i topped them too!

So my suggest is keep em going and hope for the best but i wont lie, they may take quite a bit of time to recover so, in turn your yield might be affected. Best of luck to yours brotha.

cheers.

I had trouble with using plastic bag, for frost lays on the bags and plants draw moisture like that and more or less stuns the entire plant. mine were out for 2 nites of frost and I lace mine with toilet paper to cover the entire plant and it absorbs any moisture, all is good and healthy now. yeah, you need to uncover when morning temps are right. you created a sauna for them by not uncovering and that will definately will spell doom! if you still have healthy lokking tops, then I'd leave them and they will bounce back.
