It’s crossed with a northern lights auto flower(strain that apperently smells the least.

If you dont have a carbon filter setup, it's going to smell no matter what strain you're growing.

I’ve got this one big one I bought a while ago, do you think they’re hard to setup? I might invest in more of odor control stuff, the person I live with isn’t supposed to smell like weed at work. Any tips?

I have a tent in my room with a carbon filter about 10ft. away from my closet and none of my clothes smell like weed. I also don't wear my clothes again after smoking, straight to the laundry basket.

Filters are cake to setup. You just need an exhaust fan to suck or blow air out of the tent and through the filter. If the filter is big enough, you wont smell anything.
What size is your tent/room and what size filter do you have?

2”7 by 4”11 and 4 by 4, the filterlooks big it look likes 3 feet long although it’s probably not 3 feet I have the in-line that I bought for my 600 hps

Ehh I dont usually run one in my veg tent unless it's a strain that starts smelling pretty strong fairly early.
That filter should be plenty big for that size space. Get a 4" or 6" exhaust fan with variable speed to attach to it and you'll be good to go.
You can set it up several different ways and theyll all work well.
You could hang the filter in the top with the fan attached to it so it sucks air through the filter and then blows it out of the tent through the ducting holes.
Or
You can stand the filter up outside the tent with the exhaust fan on top of it sucking air out of the tent and pushing it through the standing filter.

can have a bunch of plants in veg and not really smell them but once I switch to 12/12 that's when the stink comes
