Will This Seedling Recover?

So I decided to put a box fan in the tent on full blast and from doing so the Cheese auto seedling kind of split in half but not fully. It’s was more like the outer membrane became very weak and now it’s limp.

I propped it back up with more medium and put a can on the side of it so it can stand up straight and hopefully be easier for it to recover.

it looks like the fan has blown it over and its now trying to right itself back up towards the ligkt

also, have you just watered it. if the soil is that wet all the time, your going to get root rot


leave the fan off or move it ferther away from the little one.

I just sprayed around the top soil not to long ago it was getting dry.

Two issues I see one you should start seedlings in a smaller container to prevent over watering two no fans until the plant has at least two nodes of growth.

It was an auto flower so I started it straight in a 3 gallon pot.
Idk what I was thinking putting the fan on full blast either lol. You think it might recover?

This is my first time growing an auto also so I’m not to knowledge on them but I heard you should start and finish in one container.

Put a plastic container over it, to create a dome. It will raise the humidity, the girl will stand back up. Just be careful, make sure the container is tall enough for when she stands up. Leave it covered for a few days.

Yes, it is not a bad idea to start an auto seed in it's final pot. I've done it, but you have to be careful and not over water. I actually suggest getting some Rapid Rooters. Start your seed off in them and then put the Rapid Rooter into your 3 gallon pot once the seed has sprouted and shows it's second set of leaves.

If the stim is limpy just prop it up with a straightened paper clip with a loop on the side she will probably be fine she just needs time to strengthen her stem

Thanks for the tip I’ve been out of the growing game for about 2 years I need to start reading about growing again it helped a lot on my other grows
Also do you know what triggers an auto to go into flowering?

It’ll flower regardless of light cycle. It’s meant to grow to a certain point then it induces flowering on its own

Autos will flower under any schedule however at a minimum 18/6 ( on / off ) . Keep that cycle static all the way to finish.

Plant will have a short veg stage so it is important not to mess too much with her during that time. She will root out fast and begin structure. “ Usually “ around Day 35 ( ish ) she will start to throw first pistils ( showing sex ) then move to preflower.

They are plug and play plants so they only need to be happy for about 90 days ( + or - ). Most container soil grows can carry the bulk of the initial feeding.

You need to address the stretch. More light.

That soil bed looks yummy, tilt him up, tooth pick will do, fan down a notch, lower the light job done. Don't overfeed unless you want a lazy bugger that you need to hand rear all of its life.

I would just mound some medium up around that long stem while gently pulling back up. Gently pack it down around the stem.

what, it just needed time bro. but ui you had another to take its place then ok. but patience is the key with seedlings like that, you never know it could have been a monster yealder, you just never know
