will this work?

Hi I agree the buckets are way too small, go with at least 5's (bigger the volume of reservoir the more stable the nutrient mix is i.e. no big pH changes or TDS changes or temp changes. I use a 20 gallon Coleman cooler to supply my flowering plants. My mother is in a 5 gallon bucket.
The air pump will be fine, it doesn't take much. Good luck and HAppy Gardening! GrowIT!:weed:

yeah i wish i could do 5 gallon buckets but i don't have the height do them. but i figure they will do just fine im using 2 1/2 gallon grow bags right now with 3 1/2 foot tall plants. i mean i had a 3 gallon dwc tote with 4 plants in it. so why would 2 gallon per plant not work. it would have me area more nute and more air. so i just ordered the rest of the parts lastnite so i can start up as soon as i harvest so keep an eye out for it in about 2 months

I got a lemon skunk in a 1 gallon ice cream bucket and its bout 2 ft tall and i have plenty of room for roots. One thing you should know though is the roots could maybe be bigger because I dont really check the ph and i dont have a tds meter. I am just seeing if I like hydro, never really had luck but this seems to be going good.
