hi guys got a lovely spot. but it only gets a couple of hours sunlight as its north facing. its in the middle of a wooded area but only gets about 3 hours of direct sunlight a day. ive never grown autos before and what i read when they first come out they only need light. not direct sun light these were lowRyders. but im going back to the 90s its not a strain i was looking at. because what i read autos have come a long way since then with much better strains would this be true. about not needing direct light many thanks for any replys bertie

You will get much less mass compared to the same seed planted in a full sun spot, but sure you will get a harvest either way. If the plant were not an auto I would recommend using methods to manipulate the plant to have fewer, but larger flowers. That sort of pinching usually takes time for the plant to recover from though, which an auto doesnt have much time to spare in veg, you may get a real stretchy plant with such little light.

Personally I would find a new spot that gets 8+ hours
