Work in their country for pennys an hour or come here and get an opportunity to make a much better wage and have a much better life. Hard times calls for hard work. An opportunity is all that should be given.
And that is exactly what they are not getting, Trump has been trying to get it taken away from them.

So that's actually a picture of KGB? That's how I always have pictured the pea-brain.

Translating this OP:

"Yeah, my family are immigrants, but we've never put any burden on the USA! Because we're special."

The hypocrisy of trump chumps!

Far from it. Lean and mean. Work out 5 days a week, eat clean, pump iron.

Your translator must be wrong. My family is from irish decent. They came here poor and discriminated against. They worked hard given the opportunity to prosper. They asked for nothing except earning money from working. That goes all the way to my father, who worked his ass off in construction year round, made 3 kids with my mom. He died when I was 8 and my siblings were 5 and 2 years old. Yes my mom got help, she still worked everyday. I ate government cheese because that's what I was fed. I was not old enough to work.

At least they can still get their free Trump cell phones when they come here legally.
Great, lets hike through the desert with our kids without food and water for days and weeks so we can get a cell phone. And you guys call me pea brained.

and walked uphill both ways in the snow for miles to get to school.

Yeah, sure you did, white supremacist troll.

Lets discuss. What benefit would it be for the USA and tax payers to bring in people who cant support themselves? Lets talk facts not emotions. Unfortunately we have a whole bunch of our own citizens who we support with federal and state programs.

Its really simple. Household, business, government. Everything has to have a balanced budget. If you give out more than you bring in, you will fail. I understand our deficit and how both sides are equally guilty. This isn't a left vs right post. This is an immigration post and why it be beneficial to bring in hundreds, thousands, millions of people who need financial help?

When people get here, they get jobs, and support themselves, it is not rocket science. If where you live sucks, and you move, you get a job and start your new life.

People who already have been here and have family can move in with a parent/grandparent/relative/friend etc if they lose their job, get a divorce, have their house burn down, whatever right? How is it any different for anyone else moving a little further. It is not.

The mindset that these people are coming here with nothing and won't be able to support themselves is easily countered by a few hundred years of actual historical evidence of immigrants helping our country economically.

Its not the mindset. It facts that people are actually doing it. And that's what the supreme court ruled. That the law of public burden can be enforced. If immigrants come here and work, and pay taxes, they have nothing to worry about, right?

Its the ones who do apply for food, housing, or anchor baby parents that are a burden and they now can be deported because of the fact.

So its the actual ones who actually are guilty who need to worry.

Trump is trying to stop them from being able to come here to get the job in the first place. That is the problem. It is happening BEFORE they are able to come here and start their new life.

Edit:
If you look at the data, you will find immigrants pay far more in taxes than any of them ever use in cases of emergencies. People need to quit looking at these things like somehow they are being hurt by people using our social net, or thinking that people are somehow deficient or on it permanently, it is all racist propaganda that might sound good, but is by no means part of the reality of the situation.

I, as an able bodied adult, have never received a hand out, help, or assistance. Fact. My mom should have swallowed but I had no choice in being conceived into poverty. All i had was an opportunity to get out.

Then why should corporations and rich fucks get tax breaks? There are a lot more hungry people now and you could feed all of them for the cost of a couple of stealth fighters or a wall that "really" needs building. I would have voted to feed you instead of endless wars and war toys and I probably did when I voted against Nixon, but he won.

If one side gives the money to rich people then shouldn't it be the rich people/corporations that take care of poverty issues for immigrants? It was over 1.5 trillion in tax breaks, maybe more, who knows for sure. It sure doesn't take a trillion for a little fucking help when someone is in trouble. A bit of food, a small amount of money, donated clothes. They haven't even asked for help yet but let them know that we do hand out boot straps if needed. They don't care. They just want to get here to freedom and safety. The best citizens are immigrants.

Its pretty simple. Just like canada and most every country in the world. You either have to have assets or a skill. If you have neither, your not welcome. Skin color or religion aside. Even poor countries down south. I know a couple who retired to belize. They had to show assets, education, or a trade skill or they could not reside in the country permanently.

A real problem for sure. Different issue, different topic.

Secondly, if a million people come here and we give them all 600 dollars a month to live of off. Thats 600 million. Adds up quick when you talk about numbers, add our own citizens into the mix. Its a lot of money.
