winner and still undefeated: increasing the minimum wage

I already quoted you.

WOOOPS!
Okay. Let me spell it out for you really slow.....

My post said "At least SS provides for delivery of your benefits to you even if you stop working at age 50..."

It doesn't say SS provides benefits "WHEN you turn 50" So it means "At least SS provides for delivery of your benefits to you (at age 62 or later) even if you stop working at age 50"

Simple enough now?

Probably not

I stopped reading right here because you made a grave error. Ponzi schemes don't have phantom money, they have real money and can make investors rich as long as enough people are putting money in so that some of the people can be paid to keep the scheme going.
And then a recession happens lmao

NO, what you said could EASILY be confused by nearly anyone.
My agenda isn't to make you look wrong, you did that already on your own.
Right, and I notice you haven't dealt with my points. Too busy being offensive it seems. ...

"Ponzi scheme?? No more than insurance is. Pour your money into a term life insurance policy and after 20 years you terminate it. Where is your money? Gone.

"At least SS provides for delivery of your benefits to you when you retire at age 62 or later, even if you stop working at age 50, and to your spouse or children if you die.

"BTW, Charles Ponzi paid early investors with money from new investors. No money was reserved."

There it is Drama. Can you deal with the issues?

If people don't want to participate in some things, and they agree to leave others alone that wish to participate, are you okay with using threats of violence against them to make them participate?

It seems like the mafia has some people copying their methods, what do you think?

So you concede that Ponzi's aren't phantom money, at least someone is learning.
BTW, how am I being offensive? Have I called you names or used Bucky Hominems?
Perhaps you are just too thin skinned to accept being wrong?

one more thing, you put those sentences in quotations, why?

Social Security pays current recipients with the money that workers are putting into the system, there are no reserves.

= "BTW, Charles Ponzi paid early investors with money from new investors. No money was reserved."

Now you are agreeing with me.

"Violence"? Do you think you should be allowed to pay no income taxes if you so choose?

Many people are too poor at planning responsibly so health insurance should be mandatory. Same with S.S.

"Mafia"? That statement is a bit extreme, don't you think?

Social Security pays current recipients with the money that workers are putting into the system, there are no reserves.
And there is no tea in China, eh? Ever hear of the Trust Fund? Do you know how big it is? Do you know what it's funded with? Do you know how the assets in the TF are redeemed? Do you know how long the TF would last if we just kept doing what we're doing? Do you know how many people are saved from dire poverty each year because of SS?

Your claim of "no reserves" is your testimony to all of how little you know about SS.

And many people eat poorly, so lets regulate the entire country's diet.
Exercise? Send a government official to everyone's home on a weekly basis, make sure they be taking care of themselves.
Constant drug testing? Sure! Then we know exactly what you are putting in your body when no one is looking.

We gots to take care of these people because they obviously can't do it alone. So who pays for it all? Pfsssh, just take it from those who figured it all out on their own and let them carry all the weight because the government said its best for everyone that way.
