Winter Green House Grow in Cali?

I have a green house kind of by the central coast it stays sunny for most of the winter with occasional storms but mostly sunny. I was going to try to veg for 4-5 weeks in doors and then move them outside to flower in the greenhouse. I have read that the plant likes to be above 55 degrees so I figure I can put a room heater in there set to go on if it dips below 55. So my questions are does anyone currently or has previously done this, will the winter sun even though it will shine have enough energy to flower the plant properly. Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks mutzilla

I say go for it. Ill probably try it next year. Its free anyways so even if you get a 1/4 of a summer harvest, its worth it

only piece of advise is to make sure it is able to finish before the middle of January. So your indoor veg period is going to have to get cut really short at this point. Once the days start getting longer the plant knows what's going on. Even if it's less than 12 hours it still knows the days are getting longer and then you get a bunch of singles leaves growing without calyx's and it just doesn't ever finish right. an indica or indica hybrid will still do or now, but if you put a longer week sativa out, it wont finish in time. jan-mar is the absolute worst time for cannabis outdoors.

Alright I think I am going to give it a shot, I will stick with an early flowering indica. Any other tips out there I would love to hear them.
