Winter indoor hydro prep?

Tolerance Break

Well-Known Member
Hello everyone, hope all is well.

Just got my last harvest trimmed and in the grove bags. Made plenty of mistakes last grow, learned alot from them. Going to attempt my first winter grow.

I wanted to ask the denizens of RIU what kind of preparations I should make to grow in winter. I am changing from some GLS 300s to a HLG blackbird in my 4x4. Still going to run ebb and flow hydro with rockwool and jacks 321. Do I need to do any major adjustments outside of adding heat and humidity?

Thanks for your time and input - TB

It's all the same plant, same rules... you just have more control indoors.
timers, de/ humidifier, good light good fans etc...

I slow down the exhaust fan for cool season indoor grow. DTW in 6x blocks.
helps keep the temp and humidity up a bit. still runs maybe 5*-10* cooler esp. at night.
main fan draws off a hood over the LED's back so it gives better temp control.
