Wiring pc fan to laptop charger

I personally wouldnt use that power adaptor for those fans. You could cause a fire.

PC fans are 12v fans therefore you need a 12v Power adaptor.

If you want to run all 10 from one 12v Power you have to add all the amps up of the fans so that you have a total amps used by all fans and then match that number to the total amps the 12v power adaptor can run.

Personally i use these fans check pic below.

Your best bet would be something like an RVK inline maybe the RVK100A1 that should pull around 180m/3 an hour.

But you could use 2 of those viper fans one as intake and one as exhaust. Maybe have a small clip on oscilating fan inside your Box.

That charger is rated at 3.5A so each fan can not pull more than .35A IF it were 12vdc. But trying to run those fans with 50% more voltage is probably not a good idea. Find out what the fans pull for amperes and keep the power supply at 12vdc rated for that amp load.

Not really! You could have issues because you see PC fans are not designed to do the work that a decent inline fan would do.

Yes they move air but so far i have used 80mm pc fans 120mm Akasa apache fans with a CFM of around 54 these VIpers for their price i think are great. They have very low noise ideal for a little stealthy opperation normal pc fans when rigged to a 12v power supply will make one hell of a noise!!.

I cant possibly comment on something i have never seen let alone used before.

I am commenting on the fans i showed you because i have used them with success.

Its up to you what you use.

There is plenty of info in there.

Its only my 3rd grow so i still make a few little mistakes here and there.
