These plants are under 200w cfl, this plant is looking great on the buds and sugar leaves, but the fan leaves are starting to fall off starting from the bottom up. Is this a nutrient deficiency?

I am working in very small pots (4") and I'm using MGMC, but the time-release nutes have been used up, so I'm feeding with a consistent Feed/Water/Feed/Water schedule since they're obviously root-bound, and keep them moist as much as possible. The pots have auto-watering trough at the bottom, so I usually drain runoff, and replace with water or fert-water to keep the bottom roots constantly moist.

I do not have the option of transplanting to bigger pots, so if there really is an issue, this is not an option...because i'm broke and the box has no more room for taller pots. :(

Here are the pics of the plant...

Your lucky to get that far with Miracle Gro Moisture Control its not the preferred choice of most grower:lol:You shouldn't keep the bottom of the pot saturated you'll get root rot that's it or your low ph that came with mgmc or maybe it's the pre nutrientated dirt came with the mgmc too:clap:

Well I saturate it at the beginning and end of the 12 hr light period and its always dry by the time comes again...so the plants may be starved for water sometime during the day cycle. Around end I water about 2 hours before light goes off and right after it turns on

I've also been very careful in how strong my nutes are and my ph. Its still in the 6.5 range (yellow with gh ph indicator drops). I have tried lessening nute watering and tried increasing without different results so sounds like maybe a salt buildup from not flushing...does this sound correct? Again I said the mg nutes have been depleted

in flowering your older fan leaves will begin to yellow and die off (kind of like when you shed skin, its no longer needed so it falls off). If you are worried about being root bound one way out of it is to cut the bottom of the pots off, and then put them on top of another pot with your grow medium. The roots will eventually grow downwards into the new pot. im on my fourth grow, first one with real nutrients and an hps, and at three weeks flowering I am having fans yellow, no matter if i add nitrogen or not. Also, you should switch to a low nitrogen solution for flowering, a majority of times MG has high Nitrogen content which can cause the plants to stretch in flowering.

one way to think about it, the bigger the fan leaves the more energy the plant has to use to grow them instead of the buds. they look good for a 200w cfl, but if the bigger fan leaves are dying, but not the newer smaller ones on top and i the middle you should be fine. how much longer do you have until harvest?

Hopefully 3 weeks from tomorrow.
Its bagseed from "jamaican voodoo" but other seed I got was male so unknown male cross. Must be (dp voodoo x jamaican) x unknown.

Have ghs exodus cheese expected done around same time

3rd plant brazil amazonia but seed bank says 70% indica but sugar leaves no wider than 1-4mm and fans no wider than 2cm. Will indica dom ever exhibit this behavior? It did grow very bushy with like 15 or so colas just by lsting her
