I use straw as a Mulch. Keeps surface soil moist longer. But I see lots of wolf spiders in the straw. Spiders eat bugs equals good spiders right?

I don't think there is such a thing as a bad spider . Wolf spiders are cool as hell , especially the tiny ones .

Idk if your in or outdoors but my basement veg area had so many bugs of all kinds. The spiders werent doing nothing. I just tried googling which it indeed says yes spiders avoid frequented areas.
I wondered why this spring I dont see any. Im there all day every day now and theres no bugs. There is no way into the pots these days which might be part of it.
