Hi guys, for my flower area i have 2 600watt hps that i would like to use. what i don't know about is how big should i make my flower area. I am building a new room and have the option of making it as big as 8x12x6high or i can go with a smaller room. i dont know whether to make it big so i can move around easily, or make it a tight compacted area. i would love to make it as big as possible, but i am worried about loss of lumens/what not due to the size of the room. if i were to go big i would put both lights by one side of the room, then the other side of the room i could put my fans, dehumidifier etc.... out of the way of the actuall growing plants. i just dont know, if cramped spaces would allow for higher yields then maybe i should forget about the bigger room idea....... any input ?

how many plants do you want to do? two 6'rs depending on how you set them up can do around twelve plants or so. i just finished up 6 larger plants under two600s. around 4zs a piece. from my experience 1ks are unmatched. i have a seperate setup in a 5x5 with one 1k and it blows away the 2 600s. and also from my experience GO BIG dont build your room too small or you will regret it. for your 2 6oos i say you plan on having plants under them in a 6x4 or 7x4 space

Im with low on this. Look into your plant count and style you want to grow. If you use the 50W/sq ft recommandation, then each light can do 12 sq feet which you do have the space for no problems. Do you want it to be perpetual or is it a plant veg flower smoke fire and forget setup
