Worried help please! wavy and twisting leaves. Dont think its over watering

Ok i have a 1000watt hps 4 1/2 -5 feet above plants. Foxfarm ocean forest soil. For nutes im using foxfarm grow big and bigbloom. I use lemon juice to lower the ph of the nute/water solution to about 6. I water daily but alternate between nuted water(ph6) and just water(ph6). they are about 2 1/2 weeks in veg.

Some of the plants leaves are getting wavy and one of them is twisting a little. I do know whats going on but as a fellow grower you understand these are my babys

...pH balance can influence the twist. I'd stop using the lemon juice, and get some pH down.

pinkjackyle i dont understand some of what you said. ill flush them with regular water but what doyou mean by "straighten ph 2 early 2 nute 3-4 weeks before nutes". also if fox farm isn't ph balanced it seems like it would need something? but im just a noob one my first grow

He is saying your ph is too low for soil, it should be at 7.0. You should flush really good with just staight water and it is too early to be giving them nutes right know. You shouldn't be giving them any nutes for about 3 weeks, there is enough nutes in the soil to give them what they need. Giving them Anymore than what is already in the soil is going to fuck them up.

1000 watts is WAY overkill at this stage, even at 5 feet

watering everyday is wrong you should water when they want it, learn to read em

hey man here are few things u should change.
ur running ur 1000 watt light way too close right now. at their stage id have the light 5 to 6 feet above the plants at least. i got 20 babies right now under a 1000 watt and they are abaout seven feet from the light. lookin good but still adjusting to the intensity right now. once u start pushing out a lil more foliage id move the light closer like where u have em now. eventually u wanna be the ideal 30 inches away from the plant. honestly id be using a cfl light right now if i was you. no point in wasting 1000 watts on such a small baby. the plants cant even effectively use all that lummen power right now.

and if u are experiencing a lil nute problem just lay off the nutes for a second. u have good soil with organic nutrients in it. the only thing i would ever add right now at ur stage on top of the sloil ur using would be Humboltd Roots or Root 66. something to promote quick root growth so u can get a good root structure right from the beginning. the nutes u have been using dont need to be ph tampered, they are fine if u use the suggested amount. but dont use em for at least 2 1/2 more weeks. (best ph for cannabis is around 6.8 btw)
