I dont think I have to worry about it.Did my time in the military, new militias are popping up just in case. The Japanese said it best even before we smoked em,They would never dream of invading the US because there would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.I dont think anyone else is stupid enough to try it either.

Yes I do. First true democracy founded by the people. I can swing partially with ancient Greece, but only partially.

You post that democracies in Germany and Japan was inevitable ... that's incorrect.

Certainly Japan was never remotely experimenting with Democracy. Democracies tend NOT to have emperors.... that's a tip off.

Germany was coming off of a Monarch history and veered straight into Nazism, thanks to WWI. Hardly a democracy. Hardly a path to Democracy.

We did nation build both of them. We did a great job of it too.
Well done. I guess the silence we hear is the wanna be know it all off licking his wounds. That's what he gets for talking out of his ass.

This world would be so much better if people like padawa would actually try to learn from those of us with real knowledge instead of belligerently and mindlessly toeing the party line.

You said "the founding fathers were the FIRST to do it. [referring to establishing Democracy]." - That is actually an incorrect statement. The foundations of Democracy date back to ancient Greece, at least you acknowledged that. What exactly is the difference between "Democracy" and "True Democracy" again?... Other than your attempt to hide your mistake? Have you ever admitted a mistake? I will quote that shit in my sig when I see it!

Well, I can't go back in time and tell you the hypothetical future without WW2 happening... so I guess you got me on that one...?

Not emperors, but they can have kings and queens eh?

Rick, 85% still say you don't know what the fuck you're talkin' about...

Correction, 85% say they're Christian. Of that, the actual Christian beliefs don't affect daily life of 75% of them... They simply claim the title.

The founding fathers put the whole package together like no one ever did. the previous attempts were tiny compared to what we have done.

It is not incorrect. We implemented the first TRUE democracy.

It is our crowning achievement, although it doesn't seem to hold much value with Obama.....

Where in the constitution is nation building a delegated power? Why do we still have troops in both Germany and Japan? Who pays for this?

It's not. But this is a democracy. Look up the Marshall plan. It was needed. It was done.

We rebuilt Europe..... no one else.

Almost... but not a TRUE democracy. Women were not allowed to vote. Neither were many men that were not white land owners.

I will agree the founding fathers did alot right, and respect their effort given the times they lived in.

on the rilly rill they are freedom fighters.....we are occupying their country and they are fighting for their freedom from the occupier. thats a freedom fighter....
i still feel like fuck them and their freedom though. we were considered terrorists when we told the english go fark themselves. we call ourselves patriots...........

i dont think of the foreign scumbags going into iraq and afghanistan are freedom fighters. they are homicidal maniacs...freedom fighters wouldnt blow up innocent women and children when the occupiers arent even around at some shopping place in frikkin sadr city........the ones who live there and want us out? i consider them freedom fighters. the others are just scumbag terrorists looking for jihad....to die for their religion...they dont care about the iraqi or afghani people....god bless the average afghani mountain ganja farmer. we wouldnt have some of our best strains without them.

My mistake.

LMFAO! Never heard that one before! What's next, Adam and Eve never existed either?

The 10 commandments are in the OT - that is, the Bible, the Christian Bible, they're Christian.

Good point. It's likely a mix of both, domestic insurgents fighting an occupying force as well as foreign extremists. I think it would be a mistake to say it's all one group and none of the other.
