Would you defoliate? White widow

They are at the end of week 8. White widow typically finishes in 10-12 weeks. Sorry for the shitty bluple light pics. The one in the middle is very leafy. This is mostly grown out since a heavy defoliation pre flower switch. Should I take all remaining inner fan leaves, for better airflow more light to buds? What would you do?

I also got foxtailing on 1 plant. My temps are not high. 73 day 65 night. Humidity between 40-50. Maybe my light was too close?
I Feel like I have 3 different phenotypes. Seeds came from a plant that previously hermied (outdoor grow) due to neighbors motion light at night. Might explain some things. Mom was feminized photo.
Also feels like growth has slowed slightly this week. Idk it's all new to me. But cool to figure it out as you go. That's the addiction,to get better on the next grow. I do know a full spectrum non blurple light has to happen for the next grow. I pushed them early into flower because I ordered some legit seeds, so that explains shortness. Using it as a trial run. This is my first indoor tent grow. A couple shit attempts back in college. But now I'm back with a legal right to due so. NY took a long time to get on the green wagon. Stoner rambling done.20220309_220739.jpg

Can you show pictures without the purple? It looks like defoliation may not render much. Instead I would let your ladies utilize those storage banks(your leaves) as needed. It is possible fox tailing can be genetic.

Full disclaimer, taught by a majestic unicorn grower since summer 2021 and only started growing solo since November, but results have been far above EV.

My setup is just 2 HLG 100 for 4 weeks in veg then 8 weeks under 600R. 9 plants/light and averaging 16oz/light

What is your setup?? Light / media / nutes?

The foxtailing does look like it was from lights too close, but the stigma and pistils don't look burnt or neon orange... Had some Death Star do something similar to that on my newest crop, except it was more leafy and a small top cola. Lowered my light and it helped.

Foliage doesn't look too bad (air flow / potential fungal issues), I think training a little to get your canopy a little more even will help and hopefully you have the light at least in the recommended spacing?

It's still not legal to recreationally grow in NY. But to your original question, no I wouldn't remove any leaves, there aren't a ton there.

Also as mentioned turn your lights off for future pictures and use the camera flash. GL

These are from about a week ago doesn't show the foxtailing. But I will take your advise and will not defoliate. I'll try and post more pics of the foxtailing later.

Thanks for the reply.
Light is 300w at the wall led Hystorm marketed as 1500w equivalent. I know it's prob bs.
I am investing in a new light for the next grow. Media is a equal parts mix of fox farm ocean forest/happy frog/perlite. I fed ff grow big, big bud through veg. Then tiger bloom, tds bloom, tds signal once I flipped to flower. 2 ph'd waterings then a feed since flower. I'm watering every 3-4 days, lifting pots to see when its needs. I was at 24" 2weeks ago when I lowered down the light to about 16". Once I noticed the foxtailing starting I raised back up to 24" after researching and thinking it was due to lights to close=too much heat.
