Hey I am ordering lights for a setup, I was going with two 600 watt MH/HPS convertible from HTGSupply.

Are these guys a reliable sight? And also do you think it's worth it for the extra $50 for the Lumatek or is that just kind of a buying a "Brand-Name" product.

Here's the page for the HTGSupply :

Here's the Lumatek

thank you!

It's more then likely the same internals.

HTG is very reliable, they are owned by 2 middle aged guys that stand behind there sales.

Ask about there warranty, It's the best around, I have a HTG 5 min from my home, I love it!!

I have been looking at a Hydrofarms Sealed hood and found the quality and price to be great for the price. The hood and socket $100.00 new at the local store. This is a compact one that sits tighter to the ceiling for tighter spaces.

Don't do it dude. I have a 1000w digital greenhouse from HTG and it doesn't come close to comparing with my lumatek - not as bright, runs hotter, and much much louder. These are all cheaper than both the HTGs lumateks and their digital greenhouse and all include free shipping - http://www.urbansunshine.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=233_373_375

Here's a 600w lumatek with air cooled sealed hood and bulb for 340 with free shipping. 280 without bulb. The HTG ballast is $300 with shipping and has a shitty hood http://www.urbansunshine.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=233_373_375&products_id=18512

I would rep both urban sunshine and HTG. Have ordered from both and both have amazing customer survice. Just think the urbansunshine deal can't be beat, it's just too cheap.

Just got 2 fans delivered. 1st time using them it was easy and I'll use them again. Can't say much about the set up you want.
