Hey everybody,

its been a minute since ive updated because its been kinda bumpy around here with the ph lockouts and transplanting but last night i flushed , and today i transplanted the last of my 3 plants into her 3 gallon air pot. I am using a reduced solution and will start raising it up in a day or two , maybe tomorrow. Heres some pictures. If anyone has any comments on why rusting occurs on leaves , would you please drop a line and let me know. I was having some problems with two of my girls and i believe i have fixed it , but would like to know what i did. I think it may be a deficiency.

peace !

Hey are they starting to smell yet. Also are you doing clones and when?
veg room is FINALLY up and running! im taking a few clones either tonight or tomorrow , gonna let em root for two weeks , then im giving a few to a friend and using the rest for mothers and practice lsting ect. i can only smell them if i put my nose to the top , but thatll all change soon. luckily i have my trusty sidekick phresh filter to weed out any of the badness : )

i THNK so. ive atleast stopped the problem. I think it was because they had to be flushed and i was only giving them water for a few days aka starving them. lol. they are in bigger pots , healthier coco , and should be on the way to bud superstardom. : )

hey :) I'm gettin my Veg room up and running tonight!

your girls look good, nice and dense, no stretch.

yellowing tips generally speaks of nitrogen deficiencies, whether from being PH locked, or from not adding enough. a test kit will let you know. don't forget the micronutes!

also, are you using any superthrive or hormex or anything? I've found that, in my coco-grown plants, a little of that to every other watering makes their root system go NUTS. same with soil, of course, but you're only using coco right?

Blessings!

Thats awsome man. you probably saw i JUST got mine up and running. Itll be worth it ; )

yeah i dont know if thats the metal halide , or the strain , or what. Ive done a decent job with them besides the whole ph thing.

Yes im using straight canna coco. Ive been using canna a + b , rhzotonic , and cannazym. Im gonna use boost and pk 13/14 in flower. You think superthive + rhizotonic would be overkill? do you use straight coco? what cha growin?

Blessings!

superthrive and rhizotonic would probably be overkill. I've got a mix between different plants of organic soil (Eko compost, perlite, Sphagnum moss) and coco, since some came to me in coco, I figured I'd leave 'em, but they had almost NO root development and they were cresting two feet tall! I superthrived 'em and roots started poppin out the bottom holes in a few days :) I bet the rhizotonic would do that too....

how's your root development look like when you transplant? you're using air pots and wouldn't see your roots coming out of the bottoms (would you?)

so I guess you'd have to dig around in the coco a bit, but if digging around a bit is hard, I imagine it means you've got good root development.

the halide would keep 'em dense. if they stretch during flower, look into adding a few CFLs in each corner. 12 CFLs + easy DIY fixtures at Home Depot= $60

you won't have popcorn buds or thin colas. CFLs are wondrous devices :D
