wtf is wrong with this fluffy stuff

So as most can see there is two totally different strains but they sit in the same bucket system. I can't figure out why the one is so fluffy and now stretching up. It's been flowering like 55 days. Both plants are under the blackstar chrome 300 watt one. But again the e other one is probly the densest I've grown. I'm using h&g full line exactly to the nutrient calculator they provide. Thanks for the help. I'll freely answer any questions I can

Were they grown from seed or clone. I would say its very possible that it was just a bad pheno with poor growth patterns.

I switched away from Chinese LED panels (LG reflector type from TopLED) for flowering after running 3 strains over two cycles and getting nothing but fluffy/airy bud. I still use them for vegging, they're great for that but not up to snuff for flowering imo. Running the same strain right now, a clone from mother in the last LED round under CMH (same medium, nutes, schedules and environment) and the buds are triple the size and weight and still have 10 days to go, looking and feeling like they'll yield 3x the weight. Not saying that's your issue for sure but from my experience and seeing a lot of fluffy buds under cheap/Chinese LED's, I wouldn't be surprised. Not trashing LED's either, there are some very capable panels in the higher end and I'm building some DIY LED panels with Cree COB's as they have been shown to produce decent bud.

How much nitrogen are you feeding? I just had a plant that had nitrogen toxicity. It stopped budding and stretched a bit and my top bud looks like urs now lol. And the bud leaves look like nitrogen toxicity, hard to tell tho because of the lighting.

Thanks for the help. Ya the LEDs are really helpful for begging fast and lush and keeping electricity down and heat down too. But it might be the intensity. But again why did the other one get dense. I wish it bulked more so I'll have to try my system under the 1000watt og I have next time in flower. But I'm begging to believe it's really just a bad pheno which sucks.
I got them from a guy off craigslist trying to support the local home grower. But maybe I'll jut pay the higher dispenser prices and clone what I need.
But I'll let you all know how it turns out. I'm hoping it's just a sativa so it's just getting through ifs middle stage and going to bulk soon. Ugh if not I guess it'll have to be blasted or I can bubble bag it myself.
Thanks to everyone for the help. You collectively make me happy I started posting on here

Someone called it fox tailing when I was in grow shop. My buds were dense then something caused more growth and it looked exactly like your top pictures

No, sorry. I only had it that harvest and only on my lavender kush plants. I was using house and garden and my grow shop dude said it was the top booster. The nute that is supposed to give the plant a hormone that makes it think it's in its last 5 weeks. I stopped using h&g after that harvest cause it was too many bottles to commit to.

Wait explain that again... You got the same effect in the cold bottoms and hot tops by the light?
yeah top temp of my grow room is about 31 32 c as u get closer to the light sits on about 25 27c around the pots not all buds but the ones up near the 1200 watts of light do foxtail out abit

Fwiw I've had a same strain, clones, dwc vs flood and drain. Same time, same room. The DWC did not foxtail but the tables did (and they took 8 days longer to finish.

I think some strains are sensitive to nitrogen in later flowering.

Wouldn't you expect them to dense up having so much light energy and that they're at the top?

Interesting. Makes me think I just got dealt a bad hand and didn't compensate for it. Bummer
