Larvae of some kinda moth would be my guess. You could use diatomaceous earth and/or inoculate your soil with bt or nematoes will all kill the rat bastards.

I used the nematodes in my soil for my plants but if I did it for the sounding area where they are...I would have to do several acres. And sadly it rains too much here for DE.

No man, at birth 1/16” but they get around 3/8” when they grow up.
Well its def a beetle of some sort. You are probably right. So we shall see what turns out of this. Thank you for the insight and help. I will just continue to spray neem on my plants and maybe add some cayenne pepper to it. Crossing my fingers

Well they seem to be only affecting this one particular plant whatever that is. So hopefully they just stick to that....otherwise.... its war lol
This is most likely the case, most bugs/larva have a preference for certain plants and if they are in supply they don’t even look at other plants. Others are opportunists looking for weakened/sick plants to make it easier to attack.
