By the way to give you an extensive growing lesson..
The way that some seeds become fem is by a prosses called self-pollination! In other words they use a herm to create a fem seeds.. it takes a few years i would suppose to stabilize that fem seed by cross breeding and such.
So now u got the stablized seed and its growing fem parts while its growing male to do what....SELF-POLLINATE! so the seed kicked her herm traits to seed herself! Thus seeding the rest or to activate the herm traight wich self-pollinates its self. So there u go the lessons learned by you should be asked for in a gentleman like manners.. not calling me out.. or just PM me i will explain further.
Also i was told that by a reputable breeder that i aske in a gentleman like way.
Will not say the breeders name but hes got killer NYC disel.

Your wrong. It's actually female pollen. It has nothing to do with a male. But if it was male pollen it would be regular seeds and not femmed seeds. Better google some more there Hellmut and perhaps dig a bit deeper into chromosome's, x, y, lol. But again head over to one of my threads, I have more than two that are new and don't end quite as abruptly as yours, (oh zone has a few pics) and we'll talk so as not to embarrass anyone ;).

Ahh!! Yes i too can learn! Did not know that! But at least i can admit it! And im not calling you out.. but u have more that twice called me out.. so please drop knowledge not just calling me out to start something.

Go look re Oh Zone, again it's the search thingy, it's got a little magnifying glass. And if you review my questions they were very polite and civilized. Not any "you are a narc", "you know nothing about growing", this started when you got all bent when asked to explain your answers and if that happened more often perhaps the bro science, ass talk by so called experienced growers would stop. That's not saying I know but I sure know ass talk when I see it and sorry for upsetting you but really you should know better :(. Sorry OP just trying to clarify the femmed seed bullshit I see here all the time and I'll go away. And hopefully Helmutt I'll see you on my thread just pick one lol.

No but seriously ur just trying to pic a fight.. u could of just put out ur opinion.. and as for my explanation there just as scientific as any explination as you could get.. or are u saying that ur a scientist?? U know it all now?? You couldn't answer either one of the questions that you asked me.. so keep picking fights its not gonna help u or others anyway.
At least i can explain my thoughts and why i think this is that with some scientific method. Rather than jus calling it BS.

No one uses a hermie.. they make a 100 percent female hermie. . There's a huge difference...

exactly, most of the time, a breeder will spray a plant with a chemical such as collodial silver, which stop;s the plant from growing ethylyn, the hormone needed to produce female, pistillate flowers, so instead the plant starts to grow male, stamenate flowers instead.. there is no hermie gene present that causes the plant to grow male flowers on an otherwise female plant if that plant was stable to begin with..
it's the chemical, not some hermie gene that causes feminized seeds to grow male bits, so long as the mother was stable, like i said earlier.. but that doesn't just happen with feminized seeds.. if you breed regular seeds with hermie genetics, it'll pass along to it's offspring as the hermie trait is dominant instead of recessive ...
so to sum it up, spraying a plant with a chemical doesn't magically produce a hermie trait if it's not already present in the strain, it simply blocks the hormone needed to grow female flowers, and the plant instead produces male flowers instead.. no chemical, no male flowers, so long as the mother is stable.. it's the mother's stability that determines how hermie prone the offspring are, not the feminizing process, and the same hold true for regular, non fem'ed seeds, unstable mother or father, unstable offspring.. :)

Wow...not sure who to listen to in here lol ...not gonna argue with anyone just gonna give my opinion...i think racerboy is saying what I've been thinking the whole time the mother or father to my 818 must have been unstable ...but would that make all unstable genetics/seed.. because some seem all girl ...im confused....may sound stupid but their are alot of contradictions in here and I'm left with my thoughts lol

Ive hear of that spray but befor that i heard from a breeder that they did use some of the hermie to make fems and then crosse it whit a male to make it stable.

no, not all will be hermie, but they will carry the trait.. plants are no different than people when it comes to how genetics work.. you may have brown eyes, but carry the gene for blue eyes some where in you, it just hasn't been expressed yet..
the ones that haven't shown themselves to be hermies yet will be more likely to hermie under stress

Unfortunately that's common here but go with the majority and you'll typically get the right answer. Racer pretty much hit it on the head.

yes, when fem's first became popular, they did it one of two ways.. one is a term called roderlization, coined by Soma, which refers to some cannabis plant's abilty to throw a later nanner in late flower to keep the species alive.. not all strains will do this.. what soma did was keep a plant in flower for a extended period of time which caused it to throw a nanner, which he then collected the pollen from and used on another male to create all female seeds from.. these plants aren't what are known as true hermie plants though, but they will carry the same trait that caused them to throw a nanner in late flower..
the second way that feminized plants were initially created was from true hermie plants, in which a so called breeder would collect the pollen and use on another female plant.. these feminized seeds, since they came from a true hermie plant, will obviously be more likely to hermie.. but saying this, if a breeder used the same mother he used to make the feminzed seeds with and made regular seeds with them instead, they'd be just as likely to hermie in the offspring.. once again, it's the mother's stablity, not the creating of feminzed seeds that creates the hermie in the offspring.

as breeders learned more about the feminzing process, it was learned that certain chemicals sprayed on a stable female plant would cause it to stop producing the chemical needed to grow female flowers, which i believe is ethylyne, i'm sure i'm spelling it way wrong however.. once a female plant is sprayed with either collodial sliver or gilbraltic acid, the otherwise female plant will stop growing female flowers and instead grow male flowers.. the breeder then collects the pollen and either pollinates the same plant, creating s1 seeds, or selfed 1 seeds, or uses that pollen on another female plant, creating f1 seeds. with this method, there shouldn't be any hermie trait, but rather it's the chemical that caused the plant to stop growing female flowers and start growing male flowers instead..

most breeders today use the chemical method instead of the rodelization method that soma discovered, or using natural hermie plants as both of those methods were more likely to produce hermie traits in their offspring..

yeah, a lot of killer, popular strains are unstable as poo.. trainwreck like you mentioned already, og kush, sour d, the list goes on and on..
most of these strains are fire and people want them, therefore "breeders" used them to make beans with.
