WTf to do

This is an unknown strain in soil/perlite mix. It was happy as until I transplanted it, I way over watered it when repotting. Been in pot for 5 days and hasn't perked up, picture shows yellowing off. It's in a fabric pot but there is still moisture in the bottom of the pot so I havent given it any more water. Should I prune off all yellowing or just leave it or repot it again in dryer medium. Is it salvageable.?

Just let it dry out more. It has either an iron or sulfur deficiency as a result of the overwatering i think iron. When u can water again ph water to 6.3 to 6.5 itll grow out of it just stunted for a good week or more. Also a foliar spray with some epsom salts wouldnt hurt. If you tried repotting again it would probably stress it too much its already in a bad state. Hope she survives

Also make sure the pot isn't sitting in runoff water...can lead to root rot.

Yes ... you can elevate pot on to a simple trivet to allow a bit more drying ... that deficiency is also adding to misery.

Cheers guys, cant believe I fucked it up. It was super happy before I moved it. The pot is elevated an inch of the floor and I have a small fan pushing air thru the cavity. Would a heavy prune help, get rid of anything yellow? What mix of Epsom salts and water is right

I did a 1/2 tsp per gal and my plants were really happy, so I will be foliar spraying more often with Epsom salt from now on. I'm actually going to do it again tonight. That does look like it could be a sulfur deficiency.

Wouldn't trim anything off, any vegetation is a bit of a lifeline right now.

Give some details about your soil if you can, brand / amendments etc.
Been supplementing nutrient as well?
When you transplanted, was it water only, or nutrient as well?
Been ph'ing water etc? If so, have you made sure the meter is accurate?

Not saying the wet soil isn't a contributor, but something else is a miss imho.

Just in potting mix and perlite 60/40. Plant has had no nutes and was transplanted with just water. 3 gallon pot and half gallon of water. Will start nutes when she dries out. PH of water is around 6.8, not sure how accurate meter is. Transplanted 3 others the same way and they are doing ok. Plant was nice and dark green when repotted. Can I use Epsom salt foliar spray on all plants? Will start nutes half strength when dried out.

What type of potting mix? Some are pretty strong out the bag, ph can vary a little too.

If you haven't been adjusting the water's ph, 6.8 is absolutely fine imo. If you've been adjusting ph to 6.8, i would calibrate your meter and make sure it's accurate.

Someone will likely hate me suggesting you test the ph of your soil, but that is where I would start.
Grow with soil myself. Check my soil's ph maybe once a year, if that. But it absolutely does matter and is important, just most of the time will already be in the right range.

If the potting mix has a ph any lower than low 6's, i'd say it's a problem and likely won't change much without amendments.

Good idea letting it dry out, maybe best you can do right now.
I'd hold off on nutrient myself, until you have a fair guess as to what's going on. Likely has more than enough already, maybe even too much, if transplanted healthy.

Five days isn't a lot of time at all, to go from optimal health to those pics. Ime while root rot can do significant damage and quickly, it takes a little time to establish itself.
I'm leaning towards something a miss with the potting mix. Too strong, or possibly ph.
List the brand and type etc, someone may use the same one.

This is what I used. Other 3 plants are in the same and are in better nick but not perfect.

I guess now you know not to use the cheap shit potting mix. I used to have primo results with this stuff before I switched to coco...
