I am thinking of doing a basic white widow pot grow inside my bedroom. I am wondering if I can grow the whole thing with one or two cfl's.http://www.1000bulbs.com/85-Watt-Compact-Fluorescents/31290/ this is the link for the light I am thinking of getting. I also want to know how far away I should keep light when I first plant the germinated seed. Please help a newbie, thanks

Those are some damn big lights for such a small base. They will def grow any plant. You can use 2 100w equiv. cfls for most of one plants life, so that should handle a 1 or 2 plants up until flower. Search for someone named Jasaus and look at his 2 light cfl grow. Lamp.
