WW problem +rep for help!

I have 10 plants. 5 AK, 3 WW and 2 bagseeds. They are all 2.5 weeks old I just transplanted them about 3 days ago. 2 of the White widows have these spots on their leaves they are turning brown and crunching up from the middle... They are under 400W MH, soil is all organic mix, ph about 7. What could it be and what could help? None of the other plants have it. Thank you in advance!

Are you feeding them nutes?

have ou splashed anything on them when watering what nutes are in the soil you've potted up into?

No nutes. When they were like a week I gave them REALLY diluted root stimulator...they are in organic soil mix now...really dont think it could be burn...suggestions?

The soil is a mix of reg. soil with no nutes (or no added chem. nutes), perlite, vermiculite, dried blood, bone meal, bat quano, epsom salt and garden lime.

Well I sprayed them with water couple of times...burn from the MH??? Nah...its only 2 out of 10 plants

Do you use tap water? If you do....do you know what the PPM of it is? What I'm really getting at is do you know the mineral measurements of your tap water? If you can, test the PPM of the water going in .... then take a reading of the runoff.

If your tap water has too much sodium (as mine does) you will easily get burnt leaves because of the salt buildup.

No idea what the ppm is, when I was starting I read newb should forget about it...so I never cared...dont even know shit about it...I use tap water. I let it stand for couple of days but I quess it doesnt matter... What do you think about using rain water? I never really got a good answer to that... And is there anything I can do to make my tap water safe? Thank you

IMO looks like a boron deficiency brought on by PH being over 6.8. Just lowering the ph to 6.5 might cure all problems.

Well... I'm not saying there is a problem with your tap water.... but it's a possibility. If you think the plant is showing signs of burn on the leaves and you are not feeding it nutes and it's soil with a 7.0 ph then water seems like a possibility.

The only way to change your tap water would be with a RO machine. If you prefer you can just use the jugs of distilled water from the market... I think they are around 79 cents a gallon for the store brand.

I know you said organic... but does the medium have any nutrients in it? Your plants will have to have some food along the way.

No the soil doesnt have nutritients in it. Just what I mixed...(post earlier). What do you think about watering with rain water?

looks like either ph, or a cal deficiency to me. Thats just me though.

Rain water is good.... but you are going to have to feed it some food. Plants outside in the ground can grow with no nutrients added because the earth has nutrients in it naturally from worms and other insects and animals. Indoor plants in containers need to be fed. If your organic soil has no food in it and you aren't feeding it any then it's likely a nute deficiency like NoDrama said. The light green leaves would suggest it they could use some nitrogen at the very least.

I'm not saying you have to buy commercial high dollar nutes or anything... but home depot sells organic food you could use.

Oops... sorry I missed the post where you said what you mixed in. I'm not familiar with bone meal or some of the other things you added so I don't know what each provides to the plant....
