Year 2012 - END OF THE WORLD? Y/N?

I'm going to be around well past 2012...its all hog wash if you ask me. Just another twisted story that persuades us to believe the end is near.

No different then "Y2K" remember that?.....OMG the end was coming, bank systems, computers, EMS, everything was going to crash and burn.

The earth is gearing up some badass natural disaters, people are disgruntled, it wouldn't take much for a disease to explode across the planet killing people.

why do so many people fear an unknown force in the future?,yet so many different possibilities.
Some say nibiru,or mayan calender,comet,asteroid,polar shift,stripping of the atmosphere by coronal mass ejection,magnetic feild reversal by C.M.E,a shift in concious to a higher vibration,WW3,nuclear annihilation,climate collapse,jesus,,all number of natural disasters,alien invasion,false flag alien invasion i.e project bluebook,new world order.etc
but to see it the way i see it(not just me plenty of people you know who you are) you first have to know where you are, and what the nature of the universe and time are, then it all becomes clear, the universe and time are everything, it is every possibility, there is no end, the universe and time are one and it was all created at once, time was created from the begining til the end all at once, you have already died, infinite times ,in all of the infinite ways, all the paths of time exist side by side this is what gives you free will, the ability to choose. so you have to ask yourself what do you believe,what do you create for yourself?, if you believe in psychics then you probably ask yourself 'why are they different?' psychics themselves often believe that they are in someway special or magic,think about all of the different 'supernatural' things people talk about,are any of them real?some of them?all?the only thing that sets them apart is what we believe.if we all start believing that in 2012 we will all turn into frogs and fly of into space on moonbeams forever,then it will happen if we all truly believe it,but we cannot truly believe anything,because we only believe what we are told to believe.
People used to be very shortsighted,nobody 50 years ago could fathom the world we live in,just like the people 100 years ago couldnt fathom the world of 50 years ago,we however are farsighted and can see many possibilities and fear what will happen,we live in a time when we can see the possibility of doctors making us live forever,we can fathom the end of the world,everything fells like we are hitting a breaking point, and its simply because our many beliefs are creating a merging of the pathways of time,and it looks as if we will choose 2012

Use your time to discuss something of relevance or an issue that has applicability rather than wasting your time talking about the end of the world. So disappointing...

Well, I'm pretty sure the Mayans thought they would be around for the end of their calendar, so nuff said about that.

However, it can also be looked at this way. Just because the calendar ends on that date ( 12/20/2012) doesn't mean it won't start right back up again, like flipping a record to side B.

p.p.s. if you fear what will happen,dont want anything to happen,and want to actually change to a better way,live in peace forever with no fear,then all you have to do is refuse to participate,and tell everyone why your doing it,tell everyone they actually have a choice,communication is key,dont believe they have us trapped,if you unite then you can have the world any way you want it,there doesnt need to be any violence,passive resistance is key,dont fight back.Just unite and show everyone else there is a better way.The collapse of the world economy is paving the way as we speak,the more people lose thier homes and jobs the easier it will be to unite,deep inside we all want this its our fear that holds us back.Reach out to your neighbours.

Many tokers will fall for any conspiracy theory that comes down the pike. I spend time on several other herb sites and a member on one of them believes every single conspiracy theory there is.

i think it would be cool if everyone belived in the end of the world was going to happen in say 2012 and just ike a month or 2 before when everyone thinks the end is coming the world just went into complete chaos mode lol murder by the millions rape and pilliging, fires and then as the day was coming closer and closer we all lost hope then guess what fuck all happens the sun rises as it falls at the end of the day everything goes back to normal haha that would be funny. ill bet anyone a billion pounds that it dosent happen and then even if it does i aint got pay you lol

We're all going to be around well past 2012 with you just like the Y2K crisis. But what was the reason behind Y2K? Computers were not programmed for the shift from a year beginning with 19 onto 20 (ie. 1999 to 2000) but 2012 is a whole range of issues from the Mayans to the latest scientific discoveries. There's a huge difference there man-made machine vs. the nature of our universe. What do you have to say about that?

As mentioned already, 2012 is NOT the end of anything but it's the beginning of something new. A new age which is refered to as the Golden Age of man. We're no longer homo sapiens but we're in the process of becoming whatever is next ahead of us.

What makes our heart beat? Do you know? Did you know the earth has a pulse? Maybe you could elaborate this topic for us. Its the foundation behind 2012, if you think i'm bogus then feel free to discuss it here.

Well, as to the golden age of man... we won't get there until we rid ourselves of the boogey man in the closet, i.e. religion (superstition). As you can tell just by this thread alone, we are not near that point by any means.....

As long as people believe in Armageddon or the hidden imam, we are in trouble because people who believe strongly enough, will work to make that prophecy come true, even if it is false.
