Yellow spots and curling on my plants

Check my journal. There are two plants that have yellow spots. Im hoping it was just a heat burn, but it could be a nutrient problem or chlorine in my tap. I raised my lights about 8 inches today. im going to invest on a RO filter in a few weeks, but just bought three 5 gallon alhambra jugs and will skip nutes for a few days.

any suggestions. This is my first hydro grow. I had a soil grow in the past but never had issues with spots.

Thanks again

It's a good idea to post pics and have a grow journal here is good too. Those journals are worthless. I tried to find it and pics to help diagnose.

also, know that the light was extremely close to the plants before today. I really hope this is just a burn from the lights.

i dont think its only burn simply because of how green your plants are ...generally when heat burn is involved the leaves will lighten as a whole not just specific spots

I dont agree with the above. It might be light burn, I have had burns like that, a wrinkle in the reflector(hotspot) had hit a leaf and yellowed it. Never know, he did say his light was really close.

I do agree at the possibility of nute burn from a splash. This has happened outdoors to me where the jugs kinda glug.

i changed my resivoir without using gloves. so maybe when i checked for bugs, there were still nutes on my hands. I'm not using cfls, I'm using hps.

so, my question is; what do i do. leave it alone? trim the fan leaf on the seriously burned one? im currently running my pump with filtered water at 5.6 with no nutes, hopefully that will solve the problem. i raised the light to about 35 inches from the tops of the plants.

thanks again for the help

Guess you have to agree to disagree with yourself.....lol

And OP just leave it be and keep an eye out. If it does not spread and new growth look good no worries........

thanks for all the help. ill do as you say and just keep an eye out. also, since in new to rollitup my journal isn't as advanced as others but any suggestions/advice would be dope.

That was a confusing comment eh cowboy, When I read it it read normal in my head, then after you said that I read it and it was hard to understand.

It was a funny catch. I guess I think both possibilities could ring true. Easier said huh.

I always trim the blade thats damaged just below the damage. Doesnt seem to hurt the rest of the leaf. I just think its better to remove it so the plant doesnt try to repair it.
