Hi guys, thanks for taking a minute to check out my thread.

Basically first grow, got three auto fem PE seeds on the go, roughly a week old, slight concern however as one has yellow tipped leaves and and the other is growing a fair bit slower..

Set-up is 600w hps 3 ft away, grow room is 2.5ft by 2.5ft by 7ft, not watering them much just a bit too make sure soil is a bit moist (also have clay balls/hydroton) and on a lighting time of 20-4, two fans, one for fresh air intake and one just to keep air circulating, temp at 25-30c and humidity at 40-45%. Pics included so hopefully abit easier to give advice back.

much appreciated! x

Definitely looks like nute burn. Are you feeding it anything yet? If not, like he said- your soil may just have too much fertilizer in it.

The hps 600w light is a bit extreme for seedlings due to them being baby's it either to hot or too close to the little girls better off with a veg light hps 600w have more of a red spectrum of light for the flower stage of growth you need a blue spectrum light ie veg light to encourage root development and vegatation rather than wat ur using at the moment! Don't get me wrong it will still work but u need to expect some casualtys due to the dry heat and type of light ur using hope this helps bud

thanks bro, was considering buying a decent cfl today for vegging, would you recommend the plants wellbeing and development will be worth it? genuinely interested in growing as a hobby so could maybe even set up a different room (one for vegging and one for flowering but seeing as my first grow is auto wont be necessary!):weed:

Are u from the uk mate? I am! the best veg lights are t5 fluorescent grow lightis have 5 on each level a cloning rack for all my clones and babies and they do just fine! Ideally u want to have 3 rooms nursery, veg room and budding room that way u can maximise ur turn over by having a pull every 8 weeks or like me have four different grow opps all at two weeks intervals that way u have a pull every two weeks lot of hard work but it's worth it wen they start rolling in

Also with the t5 grow light u can have it right down on the canopy without burning the lady's also helps provent the plant from stretching to much to the light that way u have closer nodes and eventually more bud sites rather than a long skinny fucker that just fall's over u need a dense canopy with good stems to hold more buds
