lately my plants have had yellowing tips an spots showing up on the leaves and there beginning to die off. i can't figure out whats wrong with them. I've checked the pH and it's around normal so i was wondering if anyone had ideas on whats wrong or if it's simple and i'm just not leaving my closet door open enough.

Btw I will post pictures later, I'm at work right now so i can't :weed:

Also I'm In flowering (about 7th week) and there's like this web stuff forming around my buds. Anyone know what this is?

web stuff i would say is spider mites.. its normal for leaves to yellow in the last week or 2 of flower because the plant sucks all the nutes out of them. just flush for the last few weeks with water..

I hope it's not mites. Sounds like you're close to done. Many plants drop their leaves when they're done with a season. Think Vermont.
If it's mites, they must be massive cuz' I think they find the buds well into infestation.
Usually, in my experiences, they start lower on the plant, webbing mainly where the leave stem meets the main stalk.
Worse case scenerio, Water Curing Q's

I dont think they were caused by spider mites because wouldnt they have showed up back in march with the gnats?

also The web like stuff isn't really like a web.... It's more like Fluff. almost looks like cotton is appearing on my buds.....

btw thanks for the reply, You've finally made me nerves rest a little. I thought my babies had something wrong =) :peace:

Your pics aren't very clear. Maybe you've got a regular "somekinda" spider hiding in your grow somewhere. I did see what looked like webbing on pic 1. I think I'd take a Q-Tip or something and remove the webbing, unless someone comes along here and ID's this as a strain related phenomena?

I'm not saying I dont want to listen to you cause obviously you know more then me but

If I already used neem oil to kill gnats about 3 weeks ago, and i'm in my 8/9th week of flowering and the webbing is just showing up probably 2 weeks ago.... could it just be my strain? I might be wrong but if i truely did have spider mites wouldnt they of showed up when the gnats first did?

Also the webbing started at my Cola and is working its way down.... but its only appearing mainly on my one plant..

dude its bud rot...you gotta get that humidity down as low as you can, get any excess water out of your growroom, dont give em nothing to drink for 4-5 days, i'm sure there's nothing you can do for the buds already affected, you'll have to smoke them urself (tastes a bit nasty tho) but dry that air and room right out and do it quick.

Hi I am a new grower and I have a plant that is about 4 to 5 tall. I have the picture in my post. I was told to tie down the limbs so sun can get close to the stalk and it would thicken up. So I did that 3 or 4 days ago.
Today I went out to look at it and the bottom leaves have yellowed and are dying!

I live in Alabama humidity is not a problem. Sun shines hot ever day however it has been raining everyday for about 5 days or so.

My plant has not flowered at all! I am still not sure if it is a male or female. I have clipped the top.

What do I do now. Please Help.:joint:

if humidity is 2 high it could b mold. try 2 keep it around 30% give or take.
Thanks I figured out already it was mold. i harvested about a month ago but Not that big of a deal cuz it only got 6.3 and i got a little under 2 o's. Just made a few people probably less happy if u no wha i mean lol.

My plants have been growing since May. They are about 3 feet tall and very bushy; stalks are as thick as my thumb. I'm a first time grower and am lost when trying to identify males and females. My plants are outside in soil. I don't do anything special to them, however, I did prune them in July. Please help.

first off you need to get some fertilizer, look around on the internet to learn more, personally i use ff grow big and tiger bloom liquid nutes, once your plants start their flowering stage (depending on where you are should be pretty soon if it hasnt started already) you will be able to see if your plant has pistils or "hairs" which is female, if it has balls, male. type "male female marijuana" into google and there should be some sort of picture comparing the two, also you can take leaves off your plant to open up other spots of the plant that do not get as much light, you can do that almost daily.
