Yellowing fan leaves

Hey guys! This is my first time growing indoors and has been a pain in the butt so far. I have a royal gorilla auto from seedsman that is in its 2nd week of flowering. I’ve been giving it water ph at 6.5 and bloom nutes at 650 ppm. A couple days ago my plant started to have yellowing leaves on the bottom fan leaves but is now spreading to all fan leaves. Any ideas to what it could be?image.jpgimage.jpg

I believe your plants are getting to the point where Its using its nutrient reserve from the fan leaves. It’s normal for the fan leaves to yellow and die later in the plants life cycle. If your sugar leaves are yellowing that should be cause of concern. I think you’re ok my plants outside are mid flower with the fan leaves slowly wilting away. I heard it’s normal.

You’re right about the fan leaves turning during flowering but I usually have this happen later in flower. This seems a bit too soon for my liking. I was thinking maybe I didn’t give it enough nitrogen during its growth phase and now it’s a bit deficit in nitrogen

Thats nitrogen. It's not too bad right now but what are you feeding them? Cause most fertilizers would have enough nitrogen on top on potassium and phosphorus

That’s what I was thinking.. I use general hydroponics maxi gro for veg. and maxi bloom with Blackstrap molasses for flowering.

Couldn’t it be either or? Like don’t the leaves yellow when there’s too much OR too little N? How do you distinguish the difference? I’m approaching wk 5 of flower outdoors and I’m noticing more yellowing too? I heard it’s normal in the mid-late flower stage? No?

It could be either or but I think it’s a deficiency because 2 weeks after the last feeding with maxi gro the leaves started to get lime green and the fan leaves yellowing. I’m also only on week 2 of flower so it shouldn’t be pulling nutes from the leaves quit yet. For your outdoor grow the leaves starting to yellow are perfectly normal :)
