so..i recently kicked two plants to death b./c i didn't have a proper space. and i'm a dumb shit .

Also,
I don't know what a hammer is.

So i asked my handy Bro in law to help/teach me to build a "storage box". he won't know what it's really for and would probably object to the idea yet help me anyway. but i rather keep it a "storage box.

so i'm thinking... 3.5-4 feet long. 2.5-3.5 feet wide. and about . i don't know ..about 3 feet tall?

anyone suggest better measurement than that?

thinking of having about 3 plant at once in 1 gallon pots. should i have them in single file next to each other or together to form a nice lil circle?
Would a longer box allow me to add side lights?

And finally.. I'm really stomped and tired. Can someone just tell me how i would get the fresh air in and the hot air out?..how to control it from getting to hot in there? i imagine making holes on the side and an oscillating fan like at the chinese restruant.

AND the place i'm planning to put it...is near a working cold air blowing A.C vent..would this help or harm the plants?


please...any advice or WHAT NOT TO DO's would be appriciated.

if is going to be oudside use a tin roofing material its cheaper. inside, you can use wood just fine. use intake and outtake fans, get a cool tubed hps, mylar and some nice grow medium. i wouldnt grow yet, i would read more buddy, read till you know you wont fuck up.

You have 115 posts and have no idea what you are doing? I feel bad for the people that took your advice. Once you are serious and have just a little bit of knowledge of the marijuana plant and how to grow it come back here and post a question the makes just a little sense.

but to answer your questions, you need to have a little bit of a taller box, maybe 4.5 feet to compensate for the lights. you need to cut holes in the wall. i would recommend making space for a carbon scrubber inside and using a high CFM exhaust fan going out of one of the holes in the box
the other hole you can get an inline fan and connect it straight to the hole for intake. This will keep it cool and it wont smell.

i'm just asking about a box bros!
i read all about the actual growing and mantaining of a plant. hell even copped a book on it. got all the lights and i think we even got mylar around.

but i realize i need a box and skipped that chapter thinking i had a spare room.

i was debating this..taller vs wider. 4.5 feet tall..4 feet wide? got lowryder#2 ondaway..says they bushy.

2 holes in the box?
one on opposite sides of the wall? one cut high one low?
one hole gets the CFM exhaust fan the other hole gets the inline fan. thanks.

yes, you would want one hole (exhaust, hot air rises) up top on one side and another one down low on the other.

alternatively to buying a carbon scrubber, you can make a small one of your own, personally i think you cannot be careful enough about smell.
