I agree about GG. It's an un-pure strain anymore.. Only the lucky few still have the original clone only Gorrila Glue. I do happen to agree on a Good Ole AK strain though. Heres a AKBB Clusterfuck (Alaskan Thunder Fuck x Matanuska Thunder Fuck) about week 5. I have a few more a few weeks younger. They all on a July Light Deprivation schedule.

I've been tempted to get the clone only GG4 a few times, but haven't yet. I've heard from some people that it's a pain to grow. I gotta do some research on it again. This talking is making me wanna go get one though, lol.

What the hell is little chief authorized?
two crosses (by some random dude/dudette called "Little Chief Collabs" and they are certified by GG Strains to be the actual gg4, and then the AK47 is from serious seeds, and the headbanger is from Karma Genetics. I got them for free when I got the S1 seeds for gg4

OK.

I don't keep up with all that stuff. I rarely grow any of the hype strains. And when I do they were from free seeds I got when I purchased landrace strains that I use for my own breeding projects. I have no desire to grow any of that.

You should take a look at some of the ACE Seeds offerings for your next grow. They have a large collection of very good genetics. Many are long flowering sativas but they have a good assortment of hybrids as well. No hype strains just damn good genetics that lead to harvests of damn good weed.

I hope you do well with your grows but you should consider looking past hyped strains. There are many strains that sit under the radar that are pure fire being bred by real breeders that have been doing it for a very long time and have very good genetics. They do it with an actual goal in mind. Not just the next cross.

I was going to go with ACE Malawi and one of the very few indicas I saw on ACE, but then got lured in by the mighty glue (ando also long flowering times put me off, but prob are worth it) thanks for the advise!

If you do an ACE its probably best to start with a hybrid. The long flowering sativas are worth the time but can be a bitch to grow.

yeesus man, if that was the mentality then why the heck a forum? im a new grower. I want opinions in general to see other peoples experience with that many pots in that space (for example, mold, watering, variance etc). or those genetics (S1 from hermie like gg4 might be prone to hermie more than others?). etc.. or just for plain fun, like flipping a freaking coin but with a poll... is it really that bad to ask?, at the end i know its obvious is my decision, i think that is apriori acknowledged (if you need to look it up, it basically means: "i dont need to look at the sun to know its daytime¨)
I personally like gg4. I have had great results.

Id go for the Ak47 cross. Real deal AK47, especially 90s genetics is super super potent, and reeks of cat piss, and flowers. Can be very paranoia inducing.

Not everyone enjoys paranoia. I grow outdoors and I like the way my gg4 grows. Between the buzz, the yield and the mold resistance MSNL GG4 is my favorite strain to grow. I like Purple Kush but the yield isn't there. This last year was really hard on my Gorilla Sherbet. Also the GG smokes smooth as silk. I like it and so do friends with asthma.
