Wanna see a politician actually speak with the people's voice? Watch Rep Steven Cohen rip FBI Director Mueller a new one on the issue of Marijuana legalization. It's so cool to hear respected officials actually use the word legalization. Thing is, I doubt Mueller really feels the way he says he does. He has a look like "cmon can we just get through the formalities of this. You know I have to say these things." It's like acting ignorant is just part of the FBI and DEA job profile.

Glad I watched that. Thanks. You were spot on with your description of Director Mueller. He looked like he didn't believe what he was saying, and even looked a little sheepish for making some of the comments.

i just all the people that die from dui and other alcohol related shit and its legal just because of all the taxes. they could tax marijauna too. just doesn't any sense why its illegal

It would probably resemble a mix of say the ca/co dispensaries and the NH alcohol business model.

State run alcohol sales and distribution.

Prices would be cheaper than black market sales. if they are not cheaper than the black market, than people will continue to purchase via the b market.

My gess would be that it would resemble the coffeeshops in Amsterdam. It works well over there, very civilized and easy going.

they wouldnt be able to tax it becuz every one else like us will just start to grow it

I hate to say it but with the way things are, outright legalization doesn't seem likely to me. But hey, I said that about a black president and look who's in office! I think the people within the gov who want it legalized see a problem with how to regulate sales and consumption.
