Your Thoughts on Winter Growing in Shed

You have just put some ideas in my head. But with all this I got to thinking about it and will my shed stick out like a sore thumb far as heat signals?
In my opinion, no. The air patrol doesn't do random fly overs in the winter. And using that kind of tech at random in the winter time isn't likely. Worry about the neighbors pretty much. If neighbors aren't a problem and don't tell friends (at least don't tell anyone that may tell anyone that isn't trust worthy) then you don't have anything to worry about. No one gets caught by a random helicopter infrared fly by. But they do get caught by a shitty friend ratting 99.9 % of the time

Yea im not worried about neighbors, they are good. Im a just buy the thermostat and hook up a heater in the shed.

That has to suck. No we don't have that I'm in PA was in SC but recently just moved
Hi there friend ! I have 50 years experience in PA winters and it'll get cold enough to freeze the tits off of anything anywhere that isnt heated. I think you can pull it off with 1000 watters for sure during lights on. When they're off you'll need a heat source for sure. I grow in my basement where I use timers on space heaters set to kick on after the lights have gone out, and then timed to shut down for a half hour now and then since I'm paranoid about running space heaters unattended.
Growing in a shed outdoors in winter may also give you water and condensation issues as well to deal with.
Good luck to ya. If you moved here from SC, get ready to freeze your ass off.

I just got to thinking, if there's a way you could do separate tents, a 600w in each, and run them offset, run one ffor 12 hours and then the other for 12 hours. That could possibly make it warm enough with out having to use a heater, I'm not sure
