Day 8

So Stubby is working on her 3rd node right now. I think I am going to start tying it down for LST on day 10 or 11. I may water tomorrow, though the soil still looks like there is plenty of moisture, so may be another day.

Also, I may have bought this shit a little prematurely I couldn't help it after listening to Method Man.. I got a new grinder with a pollen screen, grape blunt papers, orange flavored zig zags and a pocket scale so I can see what the actual yield is when my bud is cured. Lets hope I make it that far!

Sorry about Lanky Zenith, but as you said, Stubby is definitely making up for the lost by growing so fast and big. Where did she get those large ass leaves from:) You are going to have to tie her ass down or Stubby is going to grow right out of your case? I can't wait to see her in 2 weeks!

I need to buy a grinder too, paper planes a day hehe. I also need a scale so I can weigh howmuch Lucy yields, how much was your pocket scale?

Like... 3 bucks plus shipping for the scale. I got everything off amazon. The grinder was only 16 bucks for a 4 pc grinder! That's a hella good deal since its a good size one. Yeah they're all investments really so even if I fuck this grow up ill just have it for next lol.

Ps. How do you know how I was using my internet!?

Hey so I think after I take pictures later im going to transplant stubby into the 1 gallon pot I have. Also if I can I will try to lst her but ill wait to show pics of that tomorrow so I can show pictures when she isn't as stressed.

Well its accurate to .1 gram but some people said it needed to be recalibrated with a 500g weight. But it had 180 reviews with an average of 4/5 stars so for the price its not bad at all. Ill post a link when I get home.

Thanks ct; I did not want to buy a calibration weight. Plus I don't care if my weight is off by. 2 or less so no biggie

Day 10

Allllrighty. just munchin on a bag of doritos. Delish! Off to wash hands.. get another cerveza.. Neevermind, all gone.

Okay. So I was going to transplant when I got home from work, which I did. I was also going to LST it but the node spacing is so tight I think I am just going to wait a few more days.

Stub got a slight light burn on the edge of the leaf as you all can see. It was less than half an inch from the light so hopefully that won't cause any problems.

I transplanted into a 1 gallon cookie container I bought from wal-mart to turn into a pot. It is probably 50-100% larger. I watered stubby a little before the transplant to make sure the dirt stuck together, and it kinda did. The water was just plain water, no molasses or anything, and ph'd to around 6.5 - 7.0. I filled the soil to the veery top so I think I am probably going to get a few more grams now, cause I hadn't planned on transplanting since I thought I'd have two plants.

I actually think I'm just going to grow one plant at a time now, rather than 2. I can put more light on it, use a bigger pot, and I'll end up saving money on seeds.. and some of you know I've already used a couple up already lol lesson learned.

I will do a soil ph test manana.

Aight. picture time! (pictures are before transplant, I think they are thirsty, per the leaves curling inwards, correct me if I'm wrong)

leaves curling inward is usually the plant telling you its to hot. what are your temps like. its called transpiring, they do this to try and stay cool. if you get a chance check out jorge cervantes ultimate grow dvds

That was my second guess. However it has only been doing this the last 2 days.. I think its just from the plant being a lot closer to the lights since I haven't adjusted it at all, hence the burn mark. Temps are 74-80 depending on time of day. We will just see how it does the next few days then, it's probably 2-3 inches away now, it was about 1.5 the last two days.

Crazytrain, you were right on the money brother.

Please tell me that this is JUST heat stress and nothing else. The yellowing on the lower leaves looks weird to me, and I figured the top growth would be wilting too if it were just heat stress. I lowered it a little more, but for now I just want to leave it alone.
