zip ties to hang fan

Remounting my exhaust fan for noise, right now fan is hard mounted to the top of the box, here is the question
Can I hang the fan from eye hooks with zip ties the plastic ones? I don't want to lose to many inches in head height, so hanging with bungies may not work as they say real far any thoughts or ideas Ineed to do this soon thanks

Yup that would work. I would put some rubber pieces on the hooks to help with vibration, or hang outside the box with bungees.

sure, as long as you pay attention and do a good job. seems like there's always a thread in here about someone's light or fan dropping onto the plants because it wasn't mounted correctly

Use UV resistant plastic!

These office clips have been a miracle for me. I use them on extension cords with some little S hooks and they're easy to adjust up or down...
