3 cotyledon leaves

I'd love to think this is some kind of super weed - like they used to talk about in the old days using colchicine (from crocus) to germinate (which I didn't) - but alas this appears to be a trifoliate of some sort. Probably not relevant but it's an AK47 Auto. Any theories?

So my plant here, one being when it was smaller, and what it looks like now. It has 3 cotyledon leaves, and I have seen that it's not much to worry about, but I am just curious as to what it means. Since I've learned also that it's not normal but but not exactly uncommon either. This littl e guy...
