3 starting leaves

So my plant here, one being when it was smaller, and what it looks like now. It has 3 cotyledon leaves, and I have seen that it's not much to worry about, but I am just curious as to what it means. Since I've learned also that it's not normal but but not exactly uncommon either. This littl e guy has no trouble keeping up with his brothers and sisters. He is a happy plant. I was told it was uncommon, which made me worried. Again. All I wanna know is what it means to have 3 leaves. I have been comparing answers and I need lots of opinions.

Thanks for helping a first time grower. Ha-ha. I wish I could be a normal person. But screw normality. It doesn't exist in my vocabulary.(though I used it in the previous sentence.)

It just means that while evolution has favored 2 leafs on new seedlings 3 leafs was a close second so some of that genetic code keeps getting retried. It doesn't specifically speak to any of the remaining genetics.
