The topic isn't taboo. What you are saying is taboo. Heroin use, not so much, glorifying it or thinking that it or any other kind of addiction is OKAY isn't. OKAY you use, we get it. This board isn't about that though. While I won't call you names and shit like that I will tell you WHY others are. Simply put we understand you are addicted to Heroin, We aren't. Mention it in passing or be happy on mile stones ETC.

But, I have never done heroin or crack. What you like to see is not important to the issue raised. Genocide, racism, other drugs, crime are real world issues and discussed freely but they are okay? I was interested in lending support to someone making the choice to change in a positive way....you should want to see that. Assuming no positive could emerge and "legislating" taste is truly dangerous...history proves that. So, respectfully read my words and see if you can belittle me again.

I know rape victims. They are close friends. I have tirelessly supported them by letting them express their pain and listening. The appreciation that they have for that is evidence of a positive emotional consequence.....it is support and it can happen here.

IMO heroin and crack are scheduled right. High potential for abuse and little to no medical benefits.
No place on a pot forum. Pot has high medical benefits and low potential for abuse.

heroin or other hard drug threads are generally not supportive by riu users
its not that its taboo
its that it brings in us being a sterotype for the anti pot moving assholes

ive lived on both sides of the street and can tell you the life style of an heroin or crack addict is nothing like the lifestyle of a ganja smoker. My life didn't make sense on hard drugs on cannabis it makes perfect sense. Your taking dopefein mentality and mixing it with stoners who just have mentality it's a dangerous mix the two for sure!
