no luck on the hubba bubba bomb, or the 8 bomb. 2 beans of each, makes for 4 duds. on the other hand the 4 sour diesels are doing great.

not really but the ph problem is what i'm working on right now. the strips i was using where old and wrong. i want to get a tester, just can't afford it at the moment. the one you posted the name of looks to be a real good one, but that will have to come later. believe it or not, nobody in this town has anything other then strips.

Yeah, I have had issues with the HBB in the past myself. I try and use a rapid start or some other seedling nute to get those going where they are older beans. The SD beans are newer. Im sure you'll enjoy those.

Go to Petsmart and get the drop kit for aquariums and a bottle of PH down-under 20 bucks.

You dont have a ph problem. You have a climate problem. Your failure to keep them happy temperature wise is showing. Also one single 400 w bulb.....just one would trump all that work youve done. Giggs, serioisly your horse kickin. Theres a rule i follow, pave the road to success, and dont look back :):):)

after i transplanted to the 3 1/2 gallon buckets i started having the heat issue. i went in yesterday evening and the room was 73º and inside the box was 89º. i changed things just a bit and it cooled down a bit. i may be making some other changes, as i may start bringing them out to go under the lights and then in the box for the dark. that way i can get the diesels under more light. i'm going to check out my 400 w mh lights this weekend, if any work then that may be one of the new lights.

i do know what your saying, on the lights. i do want better lights and will have them. i have a plan for a led light setup as well as the hid. if this weather will ever brake then i will get started on the shop and grow room. the worst part right now in a 2' x 2' 4' box, that i could never cool a hid in. i do have a 100 w hp but i haven't found the fixture yet, it's hell when you hide stuff from yourself.

Good, you can keep them at three feet with good dispersion (mylar type plus tight domeesque surroundings). 400s are totally under rated. Youll see.

got out two different mh's and both are shit. the insulation on the wires is falling off. i know where i can get used 400 watt mh lights for 25.00 each but i take a chance that they aren't any good either, i can buy a new ballast kit for about 40.00 to 50.00 bucks. i'll figure out something.

Damn.. That's what I did was wire up a few HPS/MH systems. A dude here local had a bunch of 600 watt kits for dirt cheap! 8$ bucks. Magnetic pulse start. Hell those work just as good as anything else IMO. I've made a few of um here within the past 3 or 4 years for different folks. I just encased them in military ammo boxes, I havent got any complaints so I guess I must have did something right. lol. images (48).jpg
