Just finished weighing my last grow, I used only foliage pro, i pulled a 1/4 lb per plant DRY and that was off of a vortex which is known to not be a big yielder. I used promix and EWC's. In flower, i never fed over 1000ppm, but I fed with every watering. EFFFFFE AN, they can suck it.
Congrats, impressive yeild per plant. Nothing but foliage pro? Think AN additives would decrease your numbers?

How come all my haters all post pictures of their scraggly plants claiming they are awesome and how good they are and how much cheaper they do it for. Then when I look at the people that like what i'm doing they have fat buds on thick stems and strong think plants?
Show us your pics again?

I didn't say anything about your quality.. I'm just saying you are throwing away your money.
Surely you aren't talking about my pics.. Go ahead, put ours side by side.

Also all those people comparing costs for their soil grows is not the same thing. I grow in a hydroponics medium. It is a known fact that hydroponics mediums allow for maximum nutrient availability to the plants over soil. Comparing a hydroponics costs to soil costs is two completely different things
Pro mix is NOT soil.

PRO-MIX HP-CC MYCORRHIZAE™ is a lightweight, high-porosity peat-based growing medium that contains chunk coir. It ensures optimum growth, especially when high air capacity and extra drainage are required. It is ideal for water-sensitive crops, rooting cuttings and/or low-light growing conditions.

Not sure, but Why mess with success?
purely hypothetical, I agree. I need to apply that wisdom. I search despite repeated sucess and just like to play devils advocate. My point is that price has become a selling point here, I just want people making decisions based on realistic expectations......for the right reasons, as you do.

I got the AN 3 part and its horrible other than dropping my ph where it belongs.... Mix 1:1:1 with a 4-3-8 combined ratio right lol I got DG grow and pro tekt . Going to try that out next time has better ratio and more complete nutrients inside

How is it horrible? Can you explain. Also, never heard of AN 3 part, what is it?

Yea I steer clear of all the additives outside of AN's Grandmaster line. They just seem like remakes of other products like you said. That is why they are so much cheaper than the other AN products.

don't get all butthurt, but AN is for newbs that don't know any better. Run 1 plant next to your AN plant and use only dyna-gro and you will see for yourself.

LOL whose butthurt? Anyway that would def be the way to go. If I spend $20 on the Dyna Grow that would be awesome it it works. I'm gonna try all these cheap recommendations in 4 different buckets. What's the worst that can happen? I lose 4 plants and learn a valuable lesson. Also, if it works out, i'll be saving a buttload of money.

one thing about AN. it will produce beautiful buds. but the trade off is the cardboard taste and lower potency. the purest organics no matter what strain will have the most beautiful, best tasting and highest potency buds. yield is the same as hydro crap

I always thought about that, how do you do it exactly I would love to know. I thought about it by brewing it in a bucket of bubbling water at a higher temp (82 degrees F) to speed up growth and replication and only add a capful of the voodoo and beneficials. I am just unsure oh how to guarantee myself that i am keeping my microbes alive long enough to impact my plants and I am growing a high enough concentration. I know to know the second part requires some differential equations but im looking for a tried and true methodology i can just do for myself using only AN products and maybe other simple household stuff.
You can find several recipes online and on youtube. The are all pretty similar to this: https://www.rollitup.org/dwc-bubbleponics/361430-dwc-root-slime-cure-aka.html

What I do is add a double dose of microbes to 5 gals dechlorinated water. I also add 2 tbs of molasses, 2 tbs of fish emulsion, 1/4 cup worm castings, and 1 tbs of Bio-weed. I used to add a dose of humic acid when I had it around. Another great thing you can do is throw in a handful of activated compost. Make sure that the water temp is between 75 and 85 degrees and aerate it for at least 24 hours. After you've aerated it for this period of time add some surfactant to it. I store mine in old milk jugs in the fridge. Don't let it stay in there too long cuz it will die, supposedly. This tea is especially good in the vegetative stage.

Now that I think about it... you're growing in soil, right?

No. I Grow in DWC 5 gallon buckets. I like your alternative method but do you have any idea if you can make a tea using voodoo juice and great white or other household stuff?
