Al is a very decent human being. All you loudmouths that hate on Al should be concerned about your own actions, Have any of you ever won a Nobel peace prize? I thought so, nuff said.
I agree med...I think these anti Al Gore folks are products of the news media.
as a congressman, house and and senate, he was very hard working for his constituents. He was very easy to get in touch with and would do anything he could to help you.

As for the increase in the electric bill, the three-year renovation on the home wasn't complete until November, so it's a bit early to attempt a before-and-after comparison. In addition, the Gores participate in the Nashville Electric Service's Green Power Switch program, which allows them to buy their electricity from renewable sources like wind power, solar power or methane gas.But Gore spokeswoman Kalee Kreider scoffs at the claim. The Gores' utility bills have gone down 40 percent since the green retrofit, she said, thanks largely to their new geothermal heating and cooling system, which cut their natural gas bills by 90 percent.
and med...you forgot to mention him winning the 2000 presidential election...

as the self-appointed messiah of the church of man-made global warming, his actions should be above reproach and they obviously are not. instead of leading by example he chooses to flaunt his lifestyle and wealth and then blame his excesses on the importance of his mission. i have a certain grudging respect for those who are willing to deny themselves the creature comforts while screeching that we should all do likewise, but a political opportunist needs to be exposed.
Excellent statement. <applause>

 bongspit, read the article please. It doesn't say that his BILL went up, it says his CONSUMPTION went up. He's a fraud. His Nobel prize is a fraud, and the man is for sale just like the rest of them, with a VERY few rare exceptions. As I said in the beginning, if this isn't enough, Google 'Al Gore daughter wedding' and see what you find out about that little shin-dig.

That's not to say that their is not human-induced climate change, more and more evidence is pointing towards that conclusion. However, it's also been terribly corrupted during the Bush tenure for one simple reason--POLITICIANS SHOULD NOT HAVE A HAND IN THE OUTCOME OF SCIENCE.

Then there is the fact that it's become a money-making scheme, which corrupts it further.

seamaiden...I read the Tennessean every day...I read the article...the house was being renovated for the last 3 years and they did not spend much time there, so of course consumption went up...
if I was wealthy, when my daughter got married I would throw her one hell of a wedding also...

lets be 100% clear Global warming is all about MONEY al gore got heavely involved in Green business before this go out of hand he is the biggest seller of Carbon offsets. he is making profit from Fraud.
Global warming is purely a way to make a ton of money off our backs the reality is that the government does not want to prevent global warming they want to profit from it.
if global warming was such an issue industrial Hemp would be legal today and we would be energy independent.

no global warming is a scam and Al gore and the rest of the government are all in on it.

Your wrong Dank! This is not really a "manbearpig"

Its more like a "WomanBearPig" unless this strain of beast has males breast feeding their piglets+kids= "kiglets":? HAHAHA

No, but on a serious note, if this shyt is real than what a crime! Its really awful that people could stoop this low and tamper wit mother nature like that..

So its a bullshit picture..... right Dank? It looks pretty convincing though. :-| But who knows with the amount of science we have.... But who knows with the skills of a professional "photoshopper"(someone good at tamping with digital pics). It looks pretty sad. Would this hybrid human have the same right as us? I don't like this technology much(if true)!

Turnabout is fair play: Their is not correct, it is there. See, even you as a Book reviewer can make a mistake. BTW, it is good to see even you coming around to the fact that humans are influencing the weather. View "The Planet", Link TV.

Where is such evidence of man-made climate change, perfessor? Give it up.
One very critical element to our success as policymakers is how we use science. That is especially true for environmental policy, which relies very heavily on science. I have insisted that federal agencies use the best, non-political science to drive decision-making. Strangely, I have been harshly criticized for taking this stance. To the environmental extremists, my insistence on sound science is outrageous.

For them, a "pro-environment" philosophy can only mean top-down, command-and-control rules dictated by bureaucrats. Science is irrelevant-instead, for extremists, politics and power are the motivating forces for making public policy. - James Inhofe

Wetar, that photo is of a sculpture. The artist is actually pretty amazing.
I figured it was bunk. Thanks SM:mrgreen:. That artist is really good. Its wild how lifelike it actually looks. 'Tree huggers' would go mental if this was real. Shyt, this offends me even though its only a sculpture. I hope this technology never comes to pass, because what rights would they have? Its just a trip to think about.

I bet they do work on these kinds of lurid science experiments. They are already working on GMOs which stands for Genetically Modified Organisms(plants in this case). https://www.rollitup.org/toke-n-talk/82951-have-you-heard-about-codex-2.html#post978135

We, please tell me you didn't think those sculptures were real. I'm losing confidence in your reasoning. No wonder you believe the anti-global warming bullshit. Drink up my friend. Oh yeah, Peace.

Med, Google rubber Johnny and watch the video. It's an art piece, but the person depicted is a very realistic deformity. We showed it to some friends of ours and the wife got very offended because she was fooled, she thought it was real. Art imitates life, or.... ?

Ohhh come on!!! Take it easy, I'm only human and that looks pretty real to me. Look at the hair, eyes, wrinkles, gloss on lips, veins in stomach, etc(not to mention the little butt cracks on the babies  I had to throw that one in for a joke). (just look at the intricacy and detail.) Science is coming out with crazy stuff now-a-days that would only be considered science fiction 30 years ago(I'm sure an old' timer like yourself can think of plenty of examples).

So if you want to shyt(or lose confidence:-?) on me because I was asking a sincere question on something that could be plausible than go ahead. I don't claim to know it all. I learn everyday and sometimes I ask silly questions about a query of mine. I'm only human, just like everyone else .

I did question why the manbearpig was in a room of the sort. Also I noticed how there are people in the pic that are turned aways from the "animals"(if you would call them that:?). So the environment doesn't seem conducive to what a classified(I would think it would be classified) project would be. So yes I did have lots of skepticism. But anything is possible.

Do you guys know they can transfer monkeys heads(and I'm sure humans too, but that would be inhumane)? They can actually decapitate a monkey and transfer his head to another monkey they just killed for that purpose. YouTube - Monkey Head Transplant Or this is a hoax too?:?.........

I am very open minded! I wouldn't doubt that science could cross a man and a pig(even though it would be utterly morally wrong). They can clone people if they wanted to.. Science is crazy, and many things are possible if you have enough knowledge on a subject.

long time no see...you have been jail, haven't you?
Sure, but not this time. Went cold turkey on free time. Decided to see what would happen if I re-committed myself, not to the asylum, but to hard work. The results are pretty fabulous, but I like this site, dare I say need this site. A forum to "express myself", and further formulate arguments in favor of "doing the right thing". The only way to get better is to persist.
