If you plan on using the 14 hole lid on the turbogarden, you need to use the round netpots, because they fit, lol. If you arent using the lid, you should buy square pots with no mesh on the sides for light to get to. The pots with 4 holes in the bottom will work great. Best of Luck!

Worm castings are the best thing you can do for your plants. Use up to 40% of your total soil in worm castings. Use 10-20-% perlite too. You will not need as much of that fertilizer as you think.

I go from EZ CLoner staright to Hydroton in 5 inch round netpots. I bought the lid to the Turbogarden so the pots would be suspended above the flood pan a little bit. The rockwool will hold extra water and will not be able to be watered as often. I may end up using rockwool at some point, but...

I have had a similar problem. WIsh I could help.

Opt for the 6" wide posts if you can afford it. There is much more area for root growth. Capillary matting increases nutrient uptake but also provides a better environment for growth of mold and other bad things. You should be fine without it.

Pour it in the rez at 7 ml/gal every 3-4 days. You will be fine. Dont use the hair stuff!

dig deep holes in the winter, mark them with a tiny flag or something. use plenty of peat and coir.
