wow i re-read the op's post. that is drastic to have the plastic 3 way connector break. i was thinking it was one of the cheap bars that go across that are provided for hanging lights etc. how would one reinforce a 3 way connector?

are the leaves deformed/mutated in any other way? most likely just the genetics of the plant as long as there is no mutated/crinkled growth. now if there is mutated/crinkled growth it could be a number of things and i would start with the roots.

-what kind of light -how far away from the plants is the light answer those two questions and we may get the answer to why it bent over. the bend is due to stretching so much and not being able to support itself. you can try holding it up by tying it to a stick or something but if it happened...

did you fill the drywall gaps with caulk?

if you wire them all together you will have to move them all together.....just something to think about. what was already said it will have to be UL approved if you make changed to an already UL approved plug. good luck!

dont LST that late into flowering....it is just unneeded stress on the plant.
