ha, awesome mention of the HEMPY, ha. i actually have ran hempy before,straight perlite. and my current hydro/soilless is almost hempy. just wantin to try the soil method out.

wit 240v, u have 2 120v lines, and 1 ground, the ground is usually copper and not lined. doesnt matter red/black as far the the 2 hot leads, no neg/positives, both r 120v. so if u bought a dryer cord pony, i wouldn't suggest hooking wires onto other wires. go back to hardware store and...

thanks for relpy ... yes the a/c does dehum, however had issues with moisture on windows in the AM so purchased the dehumidifier so no more off that... i know current setup is inefficient tho. :wall: would purchasin simple hum/therostat and plugn ac into that make it more efficent for time...

ha 240amp ballast??? i dont know if ive heard of such thing.. but a 240v line is simply 2 120v lines, therefore twice the current.... so yes savings IMO are warrant for switchin.
