13/11 light schedule during flowering

For this 13/11 light schedule discussion I am new to this to which I came here, after
I accidently miscalculated military time on my light controller.
Ending up at 13.5 hours light exposure for 5 weeks on a
TRIPLE BURGER GMO CLONE from New York. Is in flower now for 3 weeks.

If only to add to the consensus of the possibilities.

Your comment about the timer was down right funny knowing about your metal cabinet build.
Fly by the seat of your pants kind of guy? Even though loads of thought goes into it. I see here that photos are really easy to post

Ill be the piece of shit and explain. THE MOON IS NOT REFLECTED SUNLIGHT. It cools whatever it touches

for more specifics. In daylight....whatever it touches....gets hotter.

in moonlight.....whatever it touches......gets colder

You will be warmer in the shadows of night.

Any one with a IR(infrared) thermometer can prove this. It is an absolute fact......
...........not taught in school
If moonlight is not reflected sunlight, what is the source of light that illuminates it (and the side of the earth facing away from the sun)?

Fwiw, there's a dude in the "tga by others" thread who's flowering with only 7 hours of light (17 hours of darkness) and his plants look just fine...

I read years ago about equatorial countries having two crops a year, their summer crop 13/11 is the one they really prepare for, the winter crop 11/13 isn't regarded as great or worth effort?

I've personally little doubt about 13/11 improving yeilds in some cases, I don't subscribe to 11/13 to speed anything up imo if anything it's slowing them down.

Well i think with pure sat stuff cutting the light hours can help ripen it off a lil i wouldnt do it with anything else tho as for flowering with more light you might get a lil more yield slightly but your flowers wont mature fully so it isn't worth it and as they say there is nothing new under the sun i remember cervantes talking about it in his book ages ago.

Me too.

I used to wait for the trichs start to turning, but by then the pistils have long since turned and then new pistils start growing...lol

So now... i just use pistils and calyx swell to judge when a plant is finished. To me, brown trichs are just a sign of root problems...
could you expand? i thought amber trich had to do with cbg turning into thc and then cbn?
also, all plants go trough that fase, the ambering of the trichs at the end, i heard you want 20 to 30 percent amber trich to harvest
bless
so in your theory they amber couse roots are dying?

Is TGA in reference to the strain?

and.........mann..........about moonlight...........that's why I said I am a POS.........For having no real theory on this phenomena

In Support. Dr Bugbee does a great job showing the relative artificial light it would take to upset cannabis at night. In relation
moon light is.......well you have to see it for yourself. October and New years timeframe(now). Flashlight is not necessary during
these times. Eastern Pennsylvania

Honestly I was floored to hear that from his lecture...... I will speak positively because I have seen and tested the moons light
effect on surface temperature. I can explain further but this thread is popping off in the original direction

I just want to let people know there is no fact or science to say the moon will disrupt your garden.

Actually its not quite right the trichome heads always stay clear i think its the basal cells underneath they change color and give the appearance of the trichomes being cloudy or amber also you can have cbn without ambers as well if its a genetically high cbn producer anyway then its there at some level providing you dont cut early of course big bud is one for example of that

but you wouldnt argue that when 30 percent of them are amber is a sign that your plant is fully mature and starting to die? thats an easy way of knowing you got all the thc that plant could possibly produce, am i wrong?
how do you go about harvesting?

It most certainly is.
There's a very good reason your 'absolute fact' is not taught in schools.

nah bud, the moon is totally reflected sunlight, the cooling effect comes from ir going to space and beyond lol, i saw a video of a dude letting something cool exposing it to night sky, yes the ir goes to space and never back so you are getting colder, in the day sunlight provides ir thus heating you,
stop spreading misinformation

That is very cool info! Actually really cool. Experimenting with a single plant is on the edge man

the reason the "summer" crop is the one they prepare for is because in the summer months you get boat loads of UV spectra and in the winter you get a fraction of the amount of UV that you would have gotten in the summer so your end quality suffers. stimulating the UVR8 receptors with UV spectra greatly increases the quality and potency of cannabis. as you increase the amount of uv spectra that your plants receive you also increase the amount of cannabinoids and terpenes that the plant produces.

peace.
