13/11 light schedule during flowering

I'm currently using a 11/13 light schedule. My plants seem to love it. They started flowering faster buds are bigger. I have the book let's grow a pound my plants are ahead of there plants. So a 11/13 schedule can't be all bad.

I'm flowering my first plant. Unfortunately, since its illegal were I live, it's only a bonsai but I've done lst and it seems that it will have some good colas!
This Friday it makes 6 weeks from switching, I'm using small led lights, they amount to 12w of consumption (at least that's what my smart timer says)
Since week 4 its running on 13/11, I believe that's bound to increase yields, since the more light more biomass is produced
I'm using soil laced with cow's shit
I did used flowering inorganic fertilizer twice, 20 days spaced
It looks so beautiful, I only wish it could grow bigger...
Since its a stealthy grow its sealed, so i use silica to prevent humidity getting too high
Once i harvest I'll post my yield

Try to get a killawatt meter and maybe some better lights as an spiderfarmer or something trusted from aliexpress with samsung lm301H/B diodes. Otherwise i dont think there will be much bud to smoke friend

I did though about getting more lights, but the thing is: since its sealed it getts pretty hot (also, Brazil is hot as fuck so theres that too)
I'm waiting a thermohygrometer that I bought to be delivered, so I'll be able to track, but using a digital thermometer I got laying around it gets around 35-40 C inside with the lamps on, so I think getting more lamps isnt an option...
I though about constructing a cooling system using a peltier, but I'm a bit short on money, so aint gonna happen - at least not on this grow...

it doesnt seem like it on the photo, but the lamps are full spectrum. the seller said it were 28w each, but thats relative to a CFL lamp

Replace it with like 2 QB and drive them with a 100watts driver or like 120 ish and hang the dimmer outside

Can't afford them now, but I'll definitely upgrade my lamps next time
Here's how it's looking right now, 6 weeks since switching the lights
I hope to end up with at least 30g of dry bud, wish me luck

So from experimenting over time, flowering multiple strains, under the same conditions (I’ve flowered over 500) I can tell you that You absolutely want to maintain 12/12, and if anything you do not want less than 12 hours of darkness even just 30 min of extra light one night turned a plant full hermie during week 7 (forgot to close the tent once, yes just ONCE).

If you are prone to mistakes ie: fail to close your tent when your lights turn off, fail to shut your lights off on time (either from a timer failure you or you don’t have one) You should set your dark time to 13 hrs and your day time to 11 hrs - this will ensure that even with an hour of accidental light your plants will still have the mandatory 12 hours of dark I did a full grow with 11on/13off with no changes in flowering time or quality.

Adding extra light at then end of your flowering cycle will not only extend the time your plants take to finish but will increase the chances of foxtailing reduce potency and alter the density and growth rate and possibly (more likely) will turn hermie. It does not increase yeild, and it does not trick the plant into “rushing to the end”.

I’ve tried All these techniques running the same strains(clones) in multiple tents always grew with the same nutrients and grew in the same medium in the same size pots. (Foop nutrients, Power SI, Recharge, In coco coir 3 a dozen 5 gallon pots)

some additional information that would have helped me early on: If your lights experience a power outage during the on cycle, fear not, this should have no effect on your plants as long as you get the light back on as soon as you notice and make sure your light cycle returns to the same on/off times as before ie: if they shut off at midnight make sure that they continue to shut off at midnight do not add extra light time to make up for the outage this will cause problems.

And for example If you want the lights to turn on 3 hours earlier due to your schedule or whatever reason(you have no timer and have to wake up at 6 am to turn them on) you can add extra dark time to reach the desired time (1-2 hours at a time preferably avoid going over 6 hours in a single night) or roll your timer forward or backwards in 10-15 min increments per day until you reach the time desired.

now if your lights turn on in the middle of the night cycle, you may have some issues, assuming you notice right away, and it’s only Been 5-10-15 min you should be fine, turn it off and resume your cycle. BUT if you have no idea how long it’s been on or it’s been over an hour there are 3 scenarios you can do,
1. you can shut the light off immediately start a new cycle at that exact time.(yea it’s sucks but this is the safer way)

2. turn the light off and resume your previous cycle, (this is risky)

3. keep the light on try to figure out how long it’s been on and try to get 6-8hrs of day time(we want to avoid over 12hrs of light so better to undercut it) and start a new cycle

One last thing, genetics and environment play some sort of effect. You are mimicking nature, and in nature some nights the moon is up in the sky super bright and some nights there is no moon, this means that YES There is a grey area where a certain amount of light will have no effect on the plant (moonlight, starlight etc) I believe that if your plants have been grown in an environment where from the start it had some night light and the plant will adjust to these conditions, however if your plant has only known pure blackness as night time then the introduction of the same amount of moonlight or starlight is enough to cause issues. This means that if you have a tent and you have the tinest small light leaks no larger than a pin hole) they should have no effect as long as they were always there.

TLDR VERSION: during flowering stick to 12/12 as far as changing it your better with extra dark time 11on/13off and risk problems with extra light time 13on/11off. Anything more than 10-15 min of light exposure during the night cycle cause issues.

hope that helps and answers all your questions guys.

I love you all

First post here. Bugbee Dr has a video of him in front of a projector pull down screen end of video describing his experience on light
fucck growforsatan...I see you guys in home reefkeepers. Any advice given should come with *must suck demon dick*

Bugbee shows that as long as if you can not read anything in front of your face its okay. BUTTT guys really the moon with as much power as it has to light up for miles it only affects the plants at a 0.05 percent of the weakest key chain dinky piece of shit light.

Ill be the piece of shit and explain. THE MOON IS NOT REFLECTED SUNLIGHT. It cools whatever it touches

for more specifics. In daylight....whatever it touches....gets hotter.

in moonlight.....whatever it touches......gets colder

You will be warmer in the shadows of night.

Any one with a IR(infrared) thermometer can prove this. It is an absolute fact......
...........not taught in school

Among the chapters of videos on their channel
there is a video of him doing a practical on the light
that would excite cannabis at night in his studies

Uno momento por favor
