Great grow Man you should be proud. I'm interested in that 400 watt hps. Is that one of those all in one with the ballast connected to the reflector? With it being air cooled what sort of temps do you have at 10 - 12 in below the light. Does the air cooling vent the ballast heat as well?

Let just put it this way, with my hand literally underneath the reflector, there is no heat, that is why my plants are doing fine being only a few inches away. The 4-500 cfm fan is doing wonders. Also, it is a lumatek ballast, not all in one.

It was hard to get shots, but what i see is that each cola is literally doubling in size and branching larger with budsites on each, this may be due to the fact that i chopped the main stalk head a few weeks ago bc it was getting too tall. It may have taken it as a topping.

How are the plants looking this week? I'm back on the forum after taking a short break.

My garden is cranking back up into production and I'm happy to be playing in the dirt again.

Just beginning rezin production

They appear to just now be finishing their cola formation and seem to be late finishers so they may go a month longer then expected.

how much did you pay for that LED light ?

and what LEDs did you end up with ? I see you choose only whites but what kelvin did you pick ?

also I notice that with my LEDs (that have 6500K in em) is doing much better then the pure HPS (2100K) I used to run, both when it comes to side shoots/Bud`s growing up and setting sugar leave`s and when it come to Trichomes, really amazing how frosty mine look in week 3 compared to the HPS grows at that stages

THis LEd was 220, along with shipping and everything ended up being around $330

I chose 4x2700k, 4x6000k and then 4x6500k on the aquarium light version to obtain only white lights since I believe this to be the best way to grow using LED's and very little research is going into it currently since the hype has been at certain wavelengths instead of the whole spectrum needed along with high amounts of certain colors such as warm and cool light for flowering.

I too have noticed that my white LED is developing much better trichomes and I believe this to be due to the amounts of white light that HPS lacks which promote growth.

man look so dope you NL plant i hope my first grow b4 something like this :hump:
gotta ask you question about lights my grow space is 60x60x200 first i was
planted to put 2x NL under 400w i gonna get goot carbon filter and ufo but got argument .

its recommended as a minimum 50w per sq ft.

60 x 60 = 4 sq ft

its better to be 50 watt over than under

so should i just put 250w or 400w ??
will be grateful for answer

If I were you I would stick with the 400, it offers a much better light efficiency then a 250. Yes, ti is better to be over then under meaning your plants will get as much light as they can use which is optimal.

Thanks for the kind words as well.
