No idea about the spots...but the rest is looking good man! i love me some autos!!

I think the spots are from lack of nutes. I'm gonna feed it 1/4 strength Grow Big today though, so it should explode with growth. I'm also going to top dress a tablespoon of garden lime to each pot.

Sounds like a nice plan of action to me!!

Welcome, those seeds sound good I want to try black jack auto by sweet seeds. I think when autos first came out they were a lot more sketchy, but if you get them from a good breeder they should be backcrossed a bunch and pretty consistent.

yeh i was 50/50 on the blackjack or big devil and the winner was big.d always wanted to try that cream caramel seen it every were and looks amazing so had to get some seeds but think if your dp blueberry comes out a beast think they might have to be my next g lol

Quick update plants 1,2, & 3 are all showing female preflowers at day 17 from sprouting.

Decided to do an update. They are 19 days from seed and looking better after I added some nutes and let them dry out a bit.

Transplanted them to 2 gallon smart pots today. I'll post pics later tonight or tomorrow.

The plants are looking good, they seem to like the new home.
All plants are showing pistols, I'll probably start flowering nutes next week.

Does anybody have any advice on if you should wait till you see flowers to start flowering nutes or is it better to just start flowering nutes when you see pistols.

You must maintain vegetative ferts until the stretch is done. When you begin to see pistil clusters, you can change over to your flowering ferts

Got back in town yesterday. I watered tuesday before I left. They seemed pretty hungry when I got back, so I fed them full strength grow big and big bloom. They stretched a noticeable bit over those two days. Plant 1 and 2 have pistol clusters but I'll probably give them another full dose of grow big and big bloom before I start tiger bloom.

Have you grown the DP Blueberry auto before or is this your first run? I was tempted to buy some but have found all of the 'blueberry' strains with the exception of DJ Shorts (at least that I've grown) didn't live up to the namesake.

Also you asked about FF Big and Tiger bloom both of which I use. For max results I'd suggest adding a finisher like Cha-Ching or some Bud Candy. Also adding microbacteria via Bush Dr. Microbebrew and giving them a Sledgehammer flush works wonders. I know this sounds like a FF advert but they do work well. Also with autos I've found using about 1/2 to 2/3 the rec dosage at first is usually a good bet when you have not grown that auto strain before. Some of them really don't like the nutes as well as others.

I haven't grown it before but at 5 weeks there's a faint sweet smell and they are beginning to turn purple.
How long from harvest do you suggest adding the finisher?
I'm using great white shark for microbacteria.
When do you recommend doing the sledgehammer flush?
I'm currently feeding them half strength now, but I think I might be under doing it.
What other blueberries have you grown?

The plants are 35 days old from sprouting and about half way done. Plant 1 is definitely further into flowering with plant 2 a little behind with plants 3 and 4 taking their time. They also have some purple spots.

I start adding finishers when I believe I have 3 weeks left - 2 for the finisher - 1 week for flush to make sure my buds don't taste like nutes. With the sledgehammer I use it whenever I feel I've fucked up with PH or plants exhibit nute burn to give me a clean slate and at the end I run two waters with the sledge and an additional 3 with just plain filtered water before I chop.

The only auto blueberries I tried were the two from Short Stuff, they were weak sauce. Interested to see how yours turn out - they look fantastic so far.

All the reports I've heard says short stuff's blue himalya is weak and the himalaya blue diesel isn't much better, although I heard they taste good.
I was thinking of growing some though for that reason. Then I can chain smoke doobies like cigarettes. lol

I flushed the sample of gravity I was given at my local hydro shop after reading this and several other articles on Humbolt's Own Nutrients - not to be confused with Humbolt Country Nutrients which is a totally different company.
