Another big thanks to you Chainseeker, great help and tips there! But now my situation has changed again, but for the better  My gf told me today that I can have one end of our walk in closet WOOT!!

It will be 36" deep by 50" wide and ceiling height. Ventilation will be straight into the attic and I always keep my bedroom at 70 or less so will just need to make sure I have enough forced air ventilation, I'm thinking 3 bathroom exhausts should work. With the increased space I can easily run 2 DWC on top with another on the bottom for clones.

For lights I will be able to tap into my 110 line for my house a/c so will have plenty of amps. I have been reading about the different CFL's and since I want to run the top for production I will have to stagger the different lights around the top and sides of the cabinet so that I can have full spectrum coverage throughout.

Either that or if I did soil in single pots then I could set up one end for veg and the other for flowering and just move the pots by hand. My goal is to harvest 2 plants per month so with the variety I have chosen I will have to have 6 plants going, but that depends on the yield I get. So much to think about and plan over the next month or so.

I hope to have the cab done by the end of August, we are having some major work done in there getting the space set aside for my project bongsmilie Plus that gives me time to read these boards for all of the info I can, being an engineer by trade I'm fairly anal LOL so I always double check everything before starting  As always thanks for the help and keep the suggestions coming.

Cool man good news.
You should do a journal.
My goal is to get another little veg cab built to house a mother and clones.
Then I could do a two plant two week perpetual harvest MINI SOG.

I do plan on doing a journal, I'm already starting to document the setup, materials, ect. I already know I'll need 80k Lumen on the top cab and am working on the bottom one now, will need much less down there. After reading some guides I'm going with a mix of HID/CFL since this will be a good mix for growing and heat.

Still lots to read though, esp on mother plants and cloning since that's the route I want to go, I have always had a green thumb. And I still am deciding between hydro and soil, advantages to both.

As always thanks for the feedback, love the community up here bongsmilie

Its day 104 since germ. Looks like they are getting closer. One has the most amazing skunky smell, sticks to your fingers, really thick buds. Then there is the polar opposite, I look at that one and wonder why it doesn't just finish but it just hangs in there too. Still clouldy but now the 3% of amber is consistant through out, on both. I'm gonna have to cure them separately. It looks like that it will be worth the wait.

Very nice bongsmilie That is an awesome looking crop for just an aerogarden grow but I was wondering something, now this might sound crazy but can you cut one plant out for harvest if it's ready and leave the roots in the aero until you harvest the rest? Just wondering because after looking at the DWC system I know I will need to transfer my plants from the veg area to the flowering area by moving the pots. What I am concerned with is since the roots might all grow together in the flowering area where most of the growth will occur when I go to harvest I might be unable to remove the pot itself until all pots are harvested.

I am planning on running 2 DWC in the top of my cab which will be the flowering area and another DWC dripmaster in the bottom for clones/veg so I figure worst case scenario is that I have 1 DWC on top with some roots left in it while the last few plants finish their flowering.

Anyhow great job and thanks for all of the tips and help you've given, you're definitely an asset to the community up here!

Thanks Seaghost, I started with 5 healthy, vegged for 4 weeks, after about 10 days flowering, I found 3 males that had to go, cut the tops and the roots. But for harvest, if I chose to harvest one before the other leaving the roots is no problem. In fact the plant could be re-vegged if wanted, but it's a very slow process.

Well I'm down to the last remaining part of the AG and its the too small res....ha ha
I removed the hood completely....replaced it with five 43 watt CFLs and one 23watt....with the fourteen 23 watt cfls already going the cabinet is over 500 watts....No heat problems at all...might try HID next grow....I thought it best to do it this way to be safe....really hate to lose them now....

They still drink a gallon a day, but because of the abundance of roots a full res only last's about 8 hrs until it runs dry...so I fill it 3 times a day...and it looks like weeks to go...I can't wait to get the new res in the flower cab....Huge difference....

The buds are finally getting nice and plump...I was beginning to wonder what was wrong...I'm starting to think I might get a decent yield after all...fingers crossed...

trim about 5 inches of roots off it wont hurt your plants and it will spare you soem room in the rez. and they will maybe drink less

Thanks z4, but at this point I'll have to ride it out, I've chopped the roots twice all ready, there is no moving anything in there, colas are way to heavy it would take 3 people, ect...It does'nt run dry for long in fact it's turned it self into a DWC/EBB an FLOW system. haha

I have heard that if you're harvesting one plant sooner then the other you should chop away almost all of it but leave enough to keep it alive, rather them just chopping it at the stem, that way the roots wont start dying/turn to sludge.

Thanks bro, I've cut my roots twice NO PROBLEMS AT ALL, but your idea makes sense, theres no moving that res until it's all over.

Well it's WEEK 16, Day 112, and one is topping out purple! The cabinet is so full I can't get much air circulating so some heat related browning of fan leaves. Its mostly around the lights where there is very little air movement. Got to live with it for this grow. A few more tweaks to the cab after harvest. Buds are getting nice and thick, trichs are still very little amber, but just about all cloudy, almost no clear. Pics are from yesterday.
